Lilac Loses Her Temper

"Oh my how simply marvelous!" Ambrosia cried out! All of the girls filed out of the carriages. Exhilarated Jalissa ran towards the front door but on the way knocked plain into someone. Jalissa was about to tick them of for not looking where they were going even though it really was mostly her fault until she noticed who she had bumped into. Blow! Thought Jalissa as she realized she had bumped into Leticia Cowen the head girl. "Hey!" said Leticia frowning. "Look where your going kid." "Sorry." Mumbled Jalissa, half expecting to see the punishment book but instead Rain Orin the legendary games captain walked up next to Leticia. "Run along now." She said kindly and Jalissa didn't need to be asked twice. As Jalissa sped away she heard Rain say "Quite fast isn't she?" "I heard she is a marvel at tennis when she wants to be, I shall have to consider her as long as she stops playing fool for one of the teams." As Jalissa sped off she vowed to work harder on her tennis and take a break from playing fool, which is quite hard for Jalissa but oh what an honor it would be to be on one of the teams. 

As she arrived she noticed mary and tammy handing their health certificate over. "Hallo their Jalissa come on over '' said matron. As Jalissa handed her health certificate over, a very out of breath Lilac ran over. "Here." she panted handing over her certificate. "Well up to the north tower you girls go." says Matron. Tammy slipped her hand through Mary's and Jalissa's through Lilac. Ambrosia, Tilly and Tina were left behind. Tina looked rather annoyed that neither Lilac nor Jalissa took her hand but she shook it off. She kindly slipped her hand through Tilly's. Tilly was rather surprised for she didn't really know Tina but was happy with the kind gesture. Blow! Thought Ambrosia as she realized she was the odd one out. She thought she had made a good impression but as she sadly wandered away alone she questioned it. As Ambrosia walked in to the dorms her jaw dropped.

The first form dormy had lovely white beds all over with knitted pillows and quilts. Their was a lovely view of the sea by each bed. Everyone claimed their beds and went downstairs for supper. "How simply splendid!" marveled Tina. "Cold ham, potatoes baked in their jackets, tomato soup and a lovely salad." exclaimed Mary. "Well tuck in everyone." Miss Graylings called. "This is simply wizard" cried Tilly. "I know!'' cried Jalissa happily. "Here all new girls pay attention." said Jalissa. That is Mrs. potts otherwise known as- "Potty." interrupted Mary. "uh huh" nods Tammy. "And thats Mamzelle Rougier and Mamzelle Dupo- "Mamzelle Dupont." Jalissa Interrupted. "She is simply splendid for playing tricks on." Tilly frowned and said "Tricks?" "Why yes" said Jalissa. "How beastly it was to interrupt Tammy like that!" complained Mary. Lilac immediately took action. "What a hypocrite you are Mary, you interrupted Jalissa first!" Mary caught off guard spluttered. "Beast" Tammy muttered under her breath. 

"Girls off to your dormy now" called matron. Everybody stood up and walked out. Lilac, still fuming, cornered Mary after. "What a beast and a hypocrite you are Mary you deserve a jolly good ticking off now apologize to Jalissa at once!" Mary stubbornly said "I shan't. "You should apologize for being so wicked about this whole dilemma." Lilac grabbed Mary by the shoulders and shook her hard. Mary squealed and broke away. "You are a beast Lilac an absolute beast!" She ran away towards the dormy. As quickly as it came Lilac's anger was gone. Oh what a terrible thing I have done, she thought. Oh blow, I'll make amends tomorrow, Lilac told herself uneasily.
