Daffy's spite

Rain gasped Dolly plunged down into the deep end. Daffy didn't think of the consequences when she pushed Dolly, but now it was clear what she did was not going to be taken lightly. Dolly came out of the pool soaked, with her curls stuck to her face. For once she didn't feel like being nice and sweet. "You absolute beast Daffy, I hope I shall never have to see you wretched face again, I hope your expelled!!!" Dolly cried in rage. Everyone was simply horrid at Malory towers and Dolly had enough of it! "That was an awfully beastly thing to do, Daffy." Katie scolded. To Daffy's excitement, Annabel snapped at Katie. "What she did was wrong but don't go trying to make her feel worse. If I knew better, I would think you're jealous of Bobbie and you're trying to make Daffy feel bad about herself. Well stop, it's beastly!" Annabel said, her sharp tongue astonishing everyone. Katie bursted into angry sobs and ran from the crowd. "Thanks old girl." Daffy said gratefully. "I can't imagine why Katie would be so beastly, if she's jealous, her head is filled with Pi. She was ignoring me, not the other way."

Bobbie was rather confused by the whole ordeal. Katie was upset at her friendship? That was rather unfair, right? Rain snapped Daffy and immediately sent her to apologize to Dolly and Katie. How unfair, Daffy thought, why did she have to apologize to Katie? The other girls continued to dive into the pool, even though the air was thick and uneasy. Rain had to tell Eva multiple times that she could not go visit Dolly for she was not sick, only angry. After class Daffy had planned a most brilliant trick on Mamzelle. Lightening the mood was necessary after what just played out. "Bonjour, come in."Mamzelle said. Daffy mouthed hello back. Ivy stuffed a handkerchief in her mouth to stop an eruption of giggles. "Speak up, your Mamzelle cannot hear you." Mamzelle said impatiently. "Why, I am talking quite clearly. '' Daffy mouthed. "Is this a treek?" Mamzelle asked. "No Mamzelle, Daffy just said why, she is talking quite clearly." Bobbie said innocently. Katie stuffed away her giggles. Daffy had been awfully rude to her and Bobbie just stole her part in the trick, but it was a trick after all. Mamzelle felt quite perplexed and adjusted her glass. Tears fell downIvy's cheeks and Edith pounded her fist on the table. Dolly was not there to see the trick because she was in the san for a bitter cold. Dolly deserved it after all, Daffy thought. Mrs. Potts' sharp ears heard the loud laughs and came to see what could possibly be happening. "What is it Mamzelle?" Mrs. Potts asked curiously. "Its my ears, Mamzelle cannot hear a thing poor Daffy says!" Mamzelle groaned "I'm quite sure you will be able to hear anything Daffy can say, isn't that right?" Mrs. Potts said. All Daffy could do was nod meekly and look at her lap. "Bobbie, please be in charge of keeping the girls in check. You will be Ivy's deputy" Said Mrs Potts. "That was quite wrong." Annabel said. "Mamzelle is here to teach and we are here to learn, let's not forget that."

Mrs. Potts nodded in approval. "Mrs Peters shall hear about this." She said, then left just as quick as she came. "You foolish girls have treeked your Mamzelle!" Mamzelle shouted angrily. All of the girls leaned back in their seats, praying for twenty not thirty extra french verbs to conjugate. Then Mamzelle bursted into loud mucusy laughter."Oh you treek your Mamzelle quite well." She said in between laughs. "Mamzelle really is a brick for not punishing us." Daffy said happily to Annabel. "What a glorious way to end french." Annabel replied. But a shock was set for the third formers.
