The truth is finally breaking through

Chapter 1

It was 2008 when 4 year old Julie moved to the City of Angels ( Which is Los Angeles if you didn't know). Julie and Luke hit it off straight from the first meet and became best friends ever since. In 2008 was when they met Alex and Reggie. 10 years later in 2019 Julie's mom died and she distanced herself from everyone. Luke, Reggie, and Alex tried to get to her but she wouldn't let them come closer to her because she feared everyone she loved would leave or die. She stopped playing music. Luke, Reggie, and Alex met Bobby and they started a band but Bobby was rude and toxic but they all went with it because he was in the cool crowd and they wanted to be cool with him. So to be cool they had to be mean to everyone and that included Julie. Luke, Alex, and Reggie never wanted to be mean to Julie but she wouldn't talk to them so they just started to be mean to her. It's one year later and now she's in sophomore year and Luke, Alex, and Reggie were in junior year.

During all of this she had one person who never gave up on her which was Flynn. Eventually Julie started letting her, in and they were best friends from the start.

JULIE'S POV:

"It's next week and you know that I'll be there for you." Flynn said

"I know It'll just be a really hard time for me." Julie said

"Okay well you know I love you." Flynn said

"Bye." Julie said

"Bye." Flynn said

And with that Julie turned off her phone. It was going to be her mom's death anniversary in one week. Julie and Flynn both knew it was going to be a depressing day but Julie wished that her other three best friends would be there for her.

I you woke up by the noise of her alarm beep...beep...beeeppppp

I Groaned "Ughh man I was having a nice dream."

I got up and made myself some chocolate chip pancakes and saved the rest for her dad and brother. As usual Flynn was at my house waiting to walk with me.

"Hey underachiever" Flynn says

"He disappointment" I say back

"Do you know what you're going to do for the music program" Flynn asks

"I'll know in the moment" I said

"You can't keep giving me the answer jules" Flynn Tells me

We keep talking about music and school Until we reach School

(Time skip to the music program period)I am in class then the teacher calls my name. I go up to the piano and I'm trying to play but I just can't. "I'm sorry"

"Is this where we're supposed to clap." Carrie comments. I can't believe me and Carrie Wilson were friends. It's physically and mentally impossible. I can't deal with it anymore so I just run out of class. I see Flynn chasing after me.

LUKE'S POV:

There's this urge and need to just run after Julie and hold her and tell her everything's going to be fine but I can't. I've had a crush on Julie for years and I still do. So what stopped you mean why can't I go for her. I sigh and run my fingers through my shaggy hair. I have to come to the realization that Julie forgot about me and that we could never happen.

The realization hit "It's going to be Julie's mom's death anniversary in a few days." I whispered to the boys.

"I know I was going to tell you about it after school." Alex Whispers back

"It must be super hard for her. I know that she was super attached to her mom. We should probably do something nice for her." Reggie said.

"He's right but what should we do?" Alex asked

"Her mom's favorite flowers were dahlias maybe we could send her a bunch of Bouquets of pink and purple dahlias."I said to them

"Finally something that came out of your mouth that made sense and didn't get in trouble that's a first."Alex said

"haha very funny Alex" I said sarcastically
