Chapter 5

(Chelsea's POV)

Today was the day of Hayes's party and I was so excited. I woke up early to make sure I'd have plenty of time to get ready. The party didn't even start until 6, and it was currently 8:00 am. I woke up in a really good mood and I realized Macy and Bella were still sleeping. I got up really quiet and left my room, I went downstairs into the kitchen to start to make breakfast. I realized I didn't have any waffle batter so I hopped in my moms Range Rover and ran to the store, I was only 15 so I had my permit but I turn 16 next week so it was all good. When I got to the store I got pancake batter, fresh fruit, and sausage. When I was going to grab the batter someone ran right into me.

"Hey, I'm sorry my names Taylor." This really cute boy a little older than me said.
"It's okay, my names Chelsea." I smiled back.
"Maybe I'll see you around?" He smirked and walked away.

After he walked away I looked down and saw I was wearing Nike shorts, an old school shirt, Nike socks, and my Adidas slides with my hair in a messy bun. Wow that's a little embarrassing, I said to myself. After I checked out I checked the time, it was 8:25 and they usually wake up around 9:30 so I have to hurry home. When I got home they were still sleeping so I started to make the pancakes and sausage. While they were cooking I cut up strawberries and pineapple and put them in a bowl along with raspberries, blueberries, and grapes. After everything was done cooking it was 9:20, I got out syrup, butter, peanut butter, plates, cups, silverware, and napkins. I put all the food on the table along with the plates, cups, silverware, and napkins. At 9:35 Macy and Bella both came downstairs and began to eat.

It was now 11 and all the dishes were done and everything was cleaned up. Bella decided she was going to take a shower first so she grabbed her clothes and got in the shower.

(Hayes POV)

Today was the day of my party and I was stoked, I woke up at 11:30 and ate breakfast. I was so exited to see Chelsea and introduce her to everyone. I had a lot to do before the party so I started to get ready. I jumped in the shower and grabbed my clothes. After the shower I changed into my turquoise diamond supply co. sweatshirt, khaki shorts, Nike socks, and my black vans. Dang, I was looking good. I still had to go and buy all the food for the party so I made Nash take me. My parents are away visiting Will in Florida and they took Skylynn, so it's just Nash and I.

(Macy's POV)

When Chelsea was in the shower Bella and I were talking about the party.

Macy: "So the kid that's having this party is the kid Chelsea likes, right?"

Bella: "Yes! And are we going to talk to him or.."

Macy: "Defiantly! We have to make sure he isn't another one of those guys that's going to break her heart."

Bella: "Totally true girl, and maybe there will be guys for us too!"

Macy: "I hope so!"

**4:00pm**

(Chelsea's POV)

I was almost ready, I still had to do my makeup but other than that I was all set. Bella, Macy, and I all packed a bag with our bathing suits in it, just in case. Hayes lives about 3 minutes down the road, he lives in the same subdivision that I do. I decided I was going to take the Range Rover to the party, I don't want to walk. After applying my makeup, Macy did Bella's makeup and her own makeup. I didn't know who was even going to this party and what if Hayes has a girlfriend and she's there?

**6:00 pm**

(Bella's POV)

"Guys you ready?!" Chelsea yelled from downstairs. I could tell she was getting excited, she woke up at 8 and that's unusual for her. Macy and I grabbed our bags and went downstairs meeting Chelsea at the door. Before we left Chelsea gave her dog food and water just in case. We walked out the door and into the Range Rover. I decided I would sit in the back with Macy while Chelsea drove. Soon we pulled up to this huge house, with loud music and tons of cars parked outside.

(Hayes POV)

It was 6 and Chelsea still wasn't here, I just sat on the couch waiting. I heard the door open and I ran over to it but it was just Cameron. Nash invited some of his friends he met through social media and cam was one of them. He said he met them through this app called vine or something. I don't know, it sounds dumb to me. It was now 6:05 and she still wasn't here, I've been on my phone the whole time. I decided to just go to my backyard and get some fresh air, she probably isn't really going to come.

(Chelsea's POV)

We pulled up to a huge house and I just parked in there very large driveway. I told Macy and Bella to stay in the car so I could make sure this was the right house. I walked up to the door and knocked, no one answered I just walked in.
"Hey! Chelsea right?" Nash greeted me at the door.
"Right." I smiled.
"So I don't know where Hayes is but you can go look for him if you'd like." Nash laughed.
"You're great helped!" I laughed along with him.

I walked all over and still no sign of the boy who invited me here. I was getting ready to leave when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Looking for someone?" Hayes smirked.
"Actually, I was on my way out." I joked.
"Oh..." He turned away.
"Hayes! I'm joking!" I laughed.
"Gosh, you really scared me!" He said grasping his heart.

I went back out to the car to go get Macy and Bella. Once we got back inside we all split up and I couldn't find them anywhere.

**8:00 pm**

So I've been talking to Hayes for awhile now and I decided to text Macy and Bella and tell them to meet me outside. Once they got there they asked me why I wanted to talk to them and I told them Hayes and I were going to go to Taco Bell. Macy and Bella both agreed and they said they wanted to bring along their new friends. We all walked out to the Range Rover together. I drove, Hayes sat in the front, Jack J, Bella, and Matt sat in the seats behind us and Jack G and Macy sat in the very back. It's about a 10 minute drive from his house so the whole car ride consisted of rap battles and Jack J ended up winning. We all ordered our food and drinks and sat down at a big table. We all talked and laughed until I looked at my phone and saw it was 9:30 already. When we got back to Hayes's I met a few more people, one being Nash's girlfriend Ashley, she is so nice and she invited Bella, Macy and I to her open house in a few weeks. It was getting late so we decided to leave, we said bye to everyone and headed out the door.

"You're names Chelsea right?" I heard someone say. I turned around to see him, Taylor.
"Yeah! What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Friend of Nash's, what about you?" He looked at me confused.
"Friends with Hayes" i replied.
"Oh, nice seeing you again." He winked and ran back inside.

Well that was awkward. After getting home our whole night consisted of taking turns showering, getting ready for bed, talking about the party and the new boys they met, Bella texting Matt, Macy texting Jack G, and me texting Hayes.

Wow, my new life is off to a great start, and it's only the beginning.
