A boy in the grass

Meet

I met him in my hometown "Sarora", a very beautiful city, with trees on all sides, huge parks with lakes within them and the sky as clean as ever. In the day it was a light blue with the whitest clouds you could see, while in the sky at night it was the most starry. In January 2017, it was still winter but the weather was not as cold as it was in December. That day I decided to go for a walk to the park "Mardis". I love walking and while, I walk I appreciate nature. Many people do not know how to appreciate it or take care of it which is very sad. 

In the distance I saw a boy about my age lying on the grass, for a moment I thought he was dead because he was not moving, so I approached him.

As I approached I sat down on my knees beside him  I saw that he was not moving at all. His eyes were closed and his face was so pale, which made me more frightened. I tried to talk to him.

-Hello? Are you okay?. - I said scared

Suddenly he opened his eyes very quickly and I screamed scared.

-You scared me for a moment I thought you were dead. - I told him.

Which he answered with a simple "Hello".

He got up and told me he was sorry, he was just very focused on what he was thinking.

-No problem, it's better to know you're okay. - I told him in a shaky voice

~I know. He called me Argi, what's your name? - He said with a smile

-Charlotte, are you from here?

 ~ Yes, I live very close to this park, I love to see the lake, it is very nice. - His eyes shone as he talked about the lake, I liked to see that. 

-Well come on, let's sit near. - Nervous I invited him, I still wasn't sure what I was doing, but he got my attention.

We walked together towards the lake. It didn't look like a child, it looked bigger. Which surprised me. He seemed like a good person so I decided to talk to him. Even though I was really nervous because I didn't know who he was. 

As we walked I was watching the trees and feeling the cold breeze of that time. And when I least expected it we were already on the shore of the lake. Then I sat down on the floor and he sat next to me.

~I see you like trees. - He said

-Yes, they are very beautiful. - I told her nervous, I for some reason wanted to know her age I was very curious but I didn't know how to tell her

While we were sitting there was a very uncomfortable silence. There were no outside noises, and sometimes you could hear my stomach roaring. I was very hungry. I had to go, it was kind of late so I decided to start a conversation.

-Well, since you don't say anything, I want to know your age. - I didn't look him in the eyes, I was nervous

He just laughed and said:

~ I'm 20 years old, I know I don't look like I am. You look younger, how old are you?

-I'm 16. - I said between laughs. By the way, I have to go. I have not eaten and I guess they have to be waiting for me.

He laughed and said, "I can walk you home, you can't go alone" 

I accepted the invitation. My house was also close to the park so we arrived soon. When we arrived he told me we could go to the park another day, but I didn't accept the invitation. He left, while I came straight to eat, luckily my mother had the food ready. I was very hungry. I finished eating, I locked my plates and went up to my room. All I thought about was Angi, there was something about him that caught my attention, was very mysterious. I wanted to know more about him.
