The truth is finally breaking through

Chapter 2

JULIE'S POV:

After yesterday I braced myself for the worst. My dad probably got a phone call and I'm going to be kicked out of the music program.

Ray comes up to Julie and says "do you have something we need to talk about."

I sigh cuz I know I'm defeated "Yeah I know what your about to say but please don't get-"I say before dad interrupted me

"You got kicked out of the music program,I thought you liked music." He says disappointedly

"I do but I can't deal with it especially since it's in 1 days."I say on the brink of tears

"Hey come on it's alright If you don't want to play music,but you have a lot of talents and I want you to use them."Ray says

"I'm sorry" I say

"You have nothing to be sorry for you're an amazing young woman going through the grief of the loss of her mother it's all right." Dad says

Then Carlos walk downstairs "Hey I'm wondering what we're going to have fo-Julie are you okay."Carlos asked really concerned

"Yeah I'm fine"I say quickly wiping away my tears

"Julie I'm your brother I can tell when something's wrong." He says with 'the you better tell me what's going on look'

"Ok." *Explains*(I'm too lazy to write the explanation).At this point I was bawling my eyes out. It got late. We ate dinner and then I went to bed crying myself to sleep. It was a Friday so I could stay in all day tomorrow.

LUKE'S POV:

I woke up from bed and I saw Julie next door(I forgot to mention that they were next-door neighbors)I saw the tear stains on her pillow.I felt so sorry for her.(Time skip)

I called Alex and Reggie to bring the flowers over. 5 minutes later ear hair with 2 bags full of dahlias

"Hey guys"I say

"Hey" they say together. "Is julie ok...You know since your next door neighbors."

"No I don't think so. She's taking this really rough I saw the crying stains from her pillow from across the window."I say sadly

"It is her mom's death anniversary.Maybe the flowers will make her feel better."Alex said

"Yeah

JULE'S POV:

I was crying all night. I just want to stay in and cuddle my pillow for crying support. When I heard the doorbell. Carlos Or my dad couldn't get it because they were at Carlos's baseball game so I had to get it and I was not in the mood.

"Ughhhhhhh" I open the door And say "Who is- Those ding dong ditchers...."

I look down and see flowers not Just flowers dahlias I start crying but for Joy this time.I picked them up one by one. There's a trail leading to the garage. I open the door and see a bouquet of dahlias on the piano and there's a note attached to it.

It says

Hey Julie it's Reggie Alex and Luke we I want you to know that we're sorry about your mom's death and that we might Have left but we always have your back you will always be our J STAFF

- Troble clef, Banjo beat, Drummer mom friend.

I let out giggles of pure joy. I remember that in 4th grade me and the guys made up Musical related nicknames for each other I was J staff because without the staff there is no music and Luke was troble clef because he always got us in trouble Flynn would always make fun of me because the treble clef and staff go together. I stopped down and remembered all of my memories, my good ones, even my bad ones. Then my fingers just glazed the piano and then I felt a bolt of electricity and then I started playing.
