JJ said furrowing her brow and placed her hand on your shoulder
"No JJ, he'll probably fun of me" you say and roll your eyes thinking of how if rossi were to find out that you were studying Italian. You were studying it because you had a case a while back that involved the Italian language and you got to see Rossi in action. He spoke Italian like a poet, he spoke with rhythm and the flow of his speech was so beautiful. You being the linguistic of the team, after Alex Blake. You seemed to fill her shoes quite nicely and the team noticed.
Ever since you were a kid, you loved to study languages, you already knew Spanish because of your dad. He was mexican, so you spoke it fluently, then in junior high you took German for two years and then in high-school you took French. But In between those, you studied other languages too.
"No he won't, you just have to bring it up casually and he'll probably offer to help." JJ answered and smiled sympathetically, while leading you to Rossi's office. "Ha ha nice try, I'm not going to ask him"
You say and frown and get all shaky with anxiety as you see the man himself, sauntering over to you both
"Good luck" JJ raised her brows and gave a smile while giving you thumbs up and with that she left back to her seat.
"Hello" the Italian greeted you. Oh how you loved that man, not only had you had a crush on the older agent for while, oh no, since you first started at the B.a.u. "how can I help you?" Rossi asked sweetly and opened his office and let you in. You dreaded this oh so very much. But you had to stick it out.
"Listen… rossi? Can I ask you a question?" Your voice went higher in some parts of your sentence.
"Of course bambina" he replied and as you sat down you sighed and got fidgety with your fingers. "What is it, you seem stressed" he said with concern
"Could you… help me with my italian?" You asked getting red in the face
"Your italian?"
"Yes"
"I didn't know you were studying Italian, of course bambina!" He said cheerily and smiled softly
