Valerie glanced up to watch the sky begin to cry. It seemed...overwhelmed. Caught up in the reality that had Valerie's mind sacrificing much knowledge. Too much knowledge that at one point, reality was catching up to her. To remind herself everyday...

She was cursed from receiving connection with her Immortal realm, and in banishment for something that easily blinded her. Falling in love with a mortal, and now walking their realm in shame. She just prayed to the day she would be invited back into her placement. Home Sweet Home. Promising herself no more dumb-founded situations that pulled her further away from winning trust back with her homeland's Royal Kingdom...especially no longer in liking with mortals...

But, how long could that promise go on without being broken?

Valerie walked alone, letting the skies' tears set against the light-tan surface of her skin. She had a sensation to cry too. The sky seemed to cry with her, setting off same emotion. A rumble of thunder in the distance through the bundle of the grey clouds.

She kept her pace down the corridor of Cape May's pavement streets, a boardwalk through the small shops of Cape May's shore border. The small breeze that swept in setting, it swept a cluster of her bubblegum-pink curls over her shoulders, down against her back. Some swept against the border of her jaw, and against her lower lip. The pair of hazel eyes sent off no emotion, in comparison to her facial expression.

Nothing seemed to matter, of what was all the same. Same story, same surroundings. Valerie no longer cared to what was being thrown at her--except the fact that she was ignored by her own kind. In the Kingdom of Enchantment, above. Even her own parents couldn't look her in the eyes. Ashamed. The thought that they are not looking down from the Heavens to see the bricks of misery weighed on her shoulders--

She tucked her delicate hands in the front pockets of her peacoat, as of burying half of her face beneath the neck of her coat. She wore a casual pair of skinny jeans, as of a pair of black flats that slipped on her narrow feet. She walked, only giving the slightest of glance towards the blur of lights coming from the small shops' show cases. She would be quite flattered to make a child's day, with a bag stuffed with toys. Just to see a smile would make her day, even how broken she was on the inside.

She kept going, down the corridor. Passing the shops. Leaving the light behind her...
