Everybody had made their way out of the Hall to get to their common rooms. However Alice wanted to stay behind and have a small chat with Professor McGonagall, who'm she'd felt a special connection with since day one. A couple other students from other houses were staying behind too, including Draco Malfoy and the Beauxbatons girl.

"Well, it's getting late. I hope to have classes with you tomorrow, professor." Alice said politely.
"Good night, miss Williams." Professor McGonagall cooed, nodding her head.
"Oh and Alice?" She asked turning around. "Yes professor?"
"You make sure Ronald and Harry aren't late to their first class... again." A smile curved on her small lips, then with another nod she walked off. Alice smiled and made her way down the tables towards the door.

Draco got up, and kissed the girls hand softly, maintaining deep eye contact. She then got up and gracefully pranced off in the opposite direction from him. He then began to strut down the Hall. Alice turned the corner and began her way down the dimly lit corridors, when she tripped on her feet and quickly steadying herself.

"Shit." She whispered.
"Still a klutz i see?" Draco called out as he now walked a little behind her.
"Shut it Malfoy, i'm not in the mood for you're snarky comments." Alice quickened her pace.
"Too bad," He came up beside her. "I saw you and Weasley tonight at dinner."
"Oh yeah? And what did you see?" She grew annoyed.

"I saw him grab you're hand when the thunder struck." He snickered at her, glad he was making her feel uncomfortable.
"And what do you care?" She stopped and looked him in the eyes. "You were the one caressing that girl." She said, looking down at her feet for a second.

"Laveine?" He asked her, smirking. Alice didn't respond and there was a long pause.
"Jealous?" He finally asked.
"O- of you?" She stuttered. Her eyes flickering.
Another pause.
"Her."

"What? Why would i be jealous of her?" She asked irritated.
"Because i was touching her and not you." He said bluntly, taking a step forward.
"I..." She spoke in a fluster.
"I make you nervous don't i?" He smirked down at her. Alice was lost for words. Why was he asking her this?

"You know you're cute when you're anxious." He took a smaller step towards her. Now she was mad, he was teasing her. And for what? Alice thought Draco hated her, like he hates everyone. But now he was calling her cute, it didn't make any sense.
"I- i have to go." She quickly took off towards her common room.
                                      ...

"Picadilly!" Alice spoke clearly to the fat lady. As soon as she entered the common room loud music was playing. She strutted towards the main entrance and was shocked to see Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and Slytherins socialising together in their common room.

Her gaze reached the fireplace where she saw a huddle of people sitting in a circle on the floor, some in armchairs and others standing up. She whipped around when she heard Hermione's voice echo as she stormed up to her.

"Alice. I- i... they've gone absolutely ballistic! I tried to stop them but they said it was tradition! And then- oh goodness... they started a game of truth or d-"
"Hermione! 'Mione... calm down. It's okay." Alice cupped her face lovingly. "Now.. who are you talking about?"
"The twins!"

"Hello ladies!"  The ginger boys cooed together as they came up behind Alice. Hermione glared at the both of them and narrowed her eyes on her friend once more.
"These two are unbelievable!"
Alice turned to the boys, their smug faces awaiting her response.
"Tradition?" She asked slowly, a small smile on her face she couldn't hide.
