INTRO

Music.Music was a huge part of my life. It was my escape, my life; it is what made me who I am.  Ever since I was little music has always been there. Both my parents loved it, therefore naming me Aria meaning song or melody in Italian. Growing up I had a pretty good life. Mom taught me to sing, while dad taught me how to play the guitar and piano. Over time I grew interested in other instruments, and by age 13 I could play piano, guitar, flute, drums, violin, clarinet, and trumpet. I also sang, and was pretty darn good at it if I do say so myself.

Everything went fine until three years ago, when mom got Pancreatic Cancer. Shortly after being diagnosed, mom passed away. Dad loved mom so much. He lost everything when he lost mom, so he turned to drugs and alcohol. One day after going out, dad never came back. The next day the police came to my house and informed me of the tragedy. Dad had been driving around drunk and got hit by a truck. Mom and Dad never talked about any relatives. Being 16 with no guardian, I thought I was going to go to an orphanage. Then Aunt Gina showed up. Aunt Gina was part of a big music production company. She was uptight and…well... bitchy. Throw my cousins Bethany and Jessica into the mix and you have…well to put it simply, my life is a living hell. Not only do I have to put up with Aunt Gina, Bethany and Jessica, I also have to do as they please. Think of me as their personal…maid? Assistant? Slave? I don’t know.

Music.

The only thing that kept my spirits up, it got me through endless orders from Aunt Gina. Music was what made everything better. I never I’d go further than my bedroom walls with music. Never thought my song writing, singing and guitar playing would be heard. That all changed. It all changed because of a blonde haired, blue eyed boy.
