2 Moons The Beginning

This Is The End...

          "Welcome Everyone to Freshy Night! Tonight we have a packed schedule, beginning with a performance from our candidates. Please put your hands together and give a warm welcome to your Faculty Stars and Moons!" The nights MC then swept his arm to encompass the stage and the candidates as they walked out to get into position for the opening performance.

     Pha looks out and grimaces before looking over to his new friend Forth. He mouthed 'Here we go', and Forth laughs. The music starts and they both look front to begin the routine they have just spent four weeks learning.

     After the performance, which was still being applauded, the candidates are rushed backstage to dressing rooms to change into their school uniforms to be introduced to the rest of the student body, judges and honored guests.

     Beam and Kit are backstage helping with organizing all of the candidates and helping them prepare to go back on stage. Because of Pha forcing them to come with him to practice almost everyday the staff began to put them to work.

     Beam and Kit walk up to their friends and wish them luck. Kit and Pha walk towards the stage and Forth goes to follow but is stopped by Beam who has grabbed his sleeve. Forth looks down to his sleeve and then follows Beams arm up to his face.

     "Forth, I just wanted to say that I am rooting for you. Pha is my friend, so of course, I am rooting for him but you as well. I bought you roses for the most Popular. Please don't tell Pha and Kit." With that said, he runs to meet up with his friends, yelling at them for leaving him behind. Forth just watched him run away with a smirk and a head shake before following those crazy doctors.

Beam what are you doing to
me?

     "Ladies and Gentleman! I am proud to present to you, your new University Moon from the Medical Faculty, Mr. Phana Kongtorranin!"
Screaming and whistling coming from the audience was deafening.

     Pha forced a smile and walked to the front of the stage to accept the award. As he passed Forth he whispered, "I hoped you had it." Forth just grins and watches as his friend becomes the newest University Moon.

     Forth looked to the side of the stage and saw Beam and Kit clapping and yelling for their friend then Beam looked over at Forth and sent him a smile before turning back to center stage. That's enough, for now.

     "Ladies and Gentlemen your University Star and Moon N'Pring and N'Phana both of the Medical Faculty! Congratulations to you both! Thank you for all of your support and votes. This is the end of our program. Goodnight and get home safe."

The MC turned back to pass the microphone to the person behind him. Dr. T the Unverisity's President walked forward and clasped Pha's hand. "Nong, you have done your Faculty and your University proud. Thank you for continuing in the competition." The president then leaned forward to whisper in his ear. "Your love would be proud." Pha looked at the retreating President with a confused look on his face.
How did he...?

     Pha was standing with A'Pring as they were having their pictures taken by the University's News Club. He kept trying to move away from Pring but she kept a death grip on his arm, gushing the whole time about how they were the King and Queen of the school. This caused him to roll his eyes in annoyance.

Like we are royalty! Seriously, where do girls come up with this shit?

     Pha was finally able to escape the girl and all the people wanting a piece of him. He grabbed his friends and walked towards the exit saying, "This is the end...let's go before they drag me back!" He stopped only long enough to ask Forth if they were going out drinking tonight. Once he got confirmation they left.
