Mornings Suck

Beam rolled over and stretched out before opening his eyes. It took him a minute to realize he was home, in his bed and only in his briefs and tank top.

How did I get home and who the fuck undressed me?!

Beam grabbed his phone and sat up before wincing and grabbing his head.

I didn't drink that much why is my head pounding? Beam pulled up his group chat with Pha and Kitty.

Beamie: how the hell did I get home? I don't remember leaving the bar

Kitty: I don't even know how I got home! My head is killing me. I didn't drink that much why do I have a hangover

Boss: I took Kit home and Forth took you home Beam and he brought your car to your dorm. Now can you please let me sleep

Kitty and Beam: Yes Dad! 🤪

Boss: Brats!

Beam decided he didn't want to face the day and crawled back under the covers. He was having the best dream about being carried to bed by his lover like in the romance movies he secretly watches.

Everyone thinks he is this big Casanova, an image he cultivated since high school, but what nobody knows or realizes is that he could usually be found at home after dropping the girl at her place. He only ever went to the bar with Pha and Kit and sometimes the guys from the Engineering Faculty.

Once again cocooned in his blankets, he was just about to doze off when it hit him that Forth must have been the one to undress him.

Shia! Forth saw me almost naked! Mornings suck, why do we always have to face the light of day?

Groaning he closed his eyes and willed sleep to take him away.

Kit on the other hand decided to get up and shower and then find breakfast. After his shower and getting dressed in some casual clothes he grabbed his keys and wallet, slipped on his shoes and left his dorm in search of food.

He was in the mood for something light so he went to a cafe that they found the first week here and ordered a salad and iced coffee. He sat in front of the window to people watch when he saw someone he didn't think he would ever see again.

N'Ming? And is that N'Wayo with him? What are they doing here?

Kit left a tip on the table and left the cafe to see where they were headed.

Kit started to text Pha but he didn't want to get his hopes up only to be rejected by his long time crush. As Kit followed the two boys he was able to catch snippets of their conversation.

"Ming, why do you want to go to this particular school? There are more Universities in Bangkok. Granted this is one is the top rated." Wayo asked his friend.

"Well, Yo, I want to become an Engineer and they have the best program. Why don't you take the entrance exam with me. I know you don't want to be an Engineer but they have a great Science Faculty as well as Medical Faculty." Ming told his best friend since birth.

"Besides, I know you will want to go here when you hear what I just learned from my cousin's friend who attends here." Ming stated giving Yo a sly look.

"What is so special, Ming?"Yo asked while digging out the last of the frozen ice from his cup he got from the street vendor.

"This is where your P'Pha is going to school." Ming continued walking a few more steps before realizing that his friend was no longer beside him. He turned back and started laughing. Yo was just standing there staring at him. He didn't realize that his spoon had stopped halfway to his mouth.

"Ming! Are you serious? This is the school that P'Pha is attending? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Yo yelled at his friend before jumping up and down and hugging his friend.

Kit having seen and heard this last bit of their conversation laughed and turned to head back to his dorm. Pha's crush is still interested in him. I hope he does get accepted. And when Pha realizes that he is on campus nothing is going to stop him from getting his Yo, his Love.

Kit returned to his dorm and heated up some instant noodles as he had left the cafe before getting his food so that he could follow the nongs from his old school.

After finishing his noodles he decided to take a nap as he had been pulling long hours studying and helping Pha with the competition.

Ming is applying here? Was the last thought he had prior to slumber taking him.

The buzzing of Pha's phone had woken him up. When he saw it was his friends he groaned and answered their Line messages. He was so tired.

He had been going to practice everyday for four weeks and then having to review with his friends just so he could take the exams and quizzes that his classes were having. All other faculties started their classes after Medical Faculty and they had more exams and quizzes than the other faculties.

He begged his friends to let him go back to sleep.

Those two brats! I swear sometimes I do feel like their dad! Mornings suck! I just want to sleep.
