I awoke in the borrow of snow I dug the night before. The sun had only risen a moment before I woke. I stood to the crack of the hardened snow below my feet. I look around, the trees were crystallized over in a jacket of ice. The barren branches from the frozen trees swayed in the wonders winter wind, nipping at my bare face causing a quick shiver to run through my body. It was snowing as I stood there thinking, and it was piling up rapidly, leaving me in a desert of endless whiteness illuminated by the sun. I continue my journey, walking past the tree that marks my shelter. Little did I know that the pond I was walking on had started to crack and it was too late for me to move. I fall into the frozen water and my clothes are soaked in an instant. As the water Devouwers the warmth from me I notice a passage in the corner of my eye. I swim my way over to the passage and fall through the tunnel. Surprisingly, the tunnel is dry and there's a faints banging in front of me a mere 5 feet. I walk to the sound and get whipped in the face with a necklace. This was no ordinary necklace, in fact its actually a key on a chain disguised as a necklace. It falls to the ground by my feet with a sound of shattered glass. I pick it up, expecting it to be some what heavy but Im surprised by how light it actually is.

I place the key around my neck thinking nothing of it. I continue walking through the tunnel, shivering as I go. As i'm walking the tunnel gets wider and taller making it easier to walk through. I stop suddenly as a castle appears right in front of me. After recovering from shock I look at this castle again. The castle is tall and smells of sugar. The front door of the castle is shiny and sparkly making me unable to look away. With shaking hands I knock on the door, a quiet click rings out and floats to my ears like a cloud of smoke rising. The door swings open revealing the room. The room is empty besides the watery decoration of a water on the wall. I step towards the decoration and place my hand on the glittering paint and lights. As my skin touches the decoration my hand starts to tingle as a warming sensation goes through my numb hand. As if answering my curiosity, the fake waterfall becomes real and flows over me warming my body, head to toe, but not soaking me. The waterfall splatters on the floor creating a river that trickles over my feet. Quickly the water evaporates revealing a chest with a victorian padlock, holding the chest's secrets inside. I look at the keyhole and to my surprise it matches the key around my neck. I pull of the necklace and put the key in the hole and twist. I finally get the chest open, and with great anticipation, peer inside. On the floor of the chest is a vintage knife, though not rusted despite its age. I grab the knife with its casing, sliding it in my boot for protection against anything else that I may stumble upon.

A loud creak thunders behind me. I spin around expecting a person, but I only see a wall of stones that appeared 2 feet in front of me. The wall reaches the ceiling and is badly built. I'm trapped due to this barricade blocking me in. I take some consideration and with some thought decided that the im my shoe would be enough to break through the wall.

I pull the knife from my shoe and jam it through one of the wall's cracks and it shatters to the floor like glass. The wall is now a pile of bricks on the floor and as I step out through the door I made, my little cottage comes into view. As I walk to my home I realize that today's journey was nothing but the adventures I deal with in the twisted world I live in.
