Why are you doing this, ruining your health?

The only thing you've accomplished is causing stress and strife

We're all trying to help you with this hard and trying time

But you think we're crazy, it's all in your mind

Says the soul of mine.

I miss the way it used to be, just a few months ago

For some reason I have changed for the better but it doesn't matter after all,

I worry about you each day and every night

But I can't protect you; I can't fight your fights.

I'm your soul, heart and mind, and I really do care

But you are only 16, all these burdens u cannot bear

I want you to grow up, grow up and be a lady

You're only a teen but want us to hold your back

It's not too late to put your life on track

Do it for us, we need you, and that's a fact.

At night when u lay down, hearing you silently pray.

That God would keep you on earth and not take your life away

It's hard for you because we have to stay so strong

I'm more worried about your mind; you didn't do anything wrong

I'll do you a favor but only for your sake

I'll keep u happy so your joy will not be taken away...

So don't worry about yourself, focus more on your goals

I know deep down inside your heart, there are golden walls of beautiful words...

I can't go on believing lies,

At night crying tearless cries , letting my own self have its devise..
