Walking around hopelessly at the football field at my school in the middle of the night was probably not the best idea but I couldn't help myself. I had to get out of the house.

There was a boy from my school at the end of the field smoking a cigerate, unnoticed. I couldn't quite see his face but I already knew who it was. He was the bad boy of the school. The trouble maker. The flirtatious, obnoxious boy that didn't care about anything. Liam Sterling was his name. I didn't know his age but he was in my grade and probably was 17 or 18 maybe even 19. He was hot I couldn't stop myself from thinking that with his light brown hair and dark eyes. I did have a crush on him when I was little but he never looked my way so I moved on. Even now every time I pass him in the hallway I can smell his almond forest scent and a linger of collone.

Me. My names Rain Coleman. I'm 17 and a junior in high school. I'm clumsy, can't flirt, never had my first kiss or got my virginity taken away. Never drank or smoked. I liked to read... A lot. I wore nerdy glasses in class cause I have bad eye sight from afar. But didnt wear them 24/7. I was pretty and I dressed like any other girl but had my own way in a kind of sense. I thought about being bad once... Just to get attention but it was the stupidest idea ever. I couldn't even bare to look at the bottles of alcohol in my fathers celler. I wasn't rich nor poor but my parents weren't around a lot and I was an only child so it was pretty lonely.

The only real family I have is my beautiful husky Shar (short for Charlotte) and my two best friends Skylar Grey and Dillion Farewell.

My phone buzzed in my pocket and I took it out and looked at it. I scanned the screen and saw it was just a Facebook notification. I put my phone back in my back pocket. I glanced around and saw Liam looking straight at me. My breath caught in my throat. We never have made direct eye contact. He starred at me... And I couldn't help but stare back. His cigerate half hanging out of his mouth in a sexy sort of way. His hair looking like he didn't do anything with it but looked perfect anyway. His creamy eyes stared at me and then went pitch black. My eyes widened and a small gasp left my lips. Why couldn't I look away?

He started to walk towards me very slowly and I was stuck in my spot my feet planted into the ground. Why was he coming towards me? My heart pounded loudly and hardly in my chest that it started to hurt. I wanted to run so badly but I couldn't look away like he had me tied down. He was halfway across the football field now. Just 30 more yards if I run towards the forest he won't be able to catch me. He stuffed his hands in his leather jacket and finally looked away from my eyes but instead at my body. Oh my god he's checking me out.

I ran.

As fast as I could towards the woods that surrounded the school and the whole town. I heard an animalistic growl and I gasped and ran faster. I wanted to scream but I couldn't find my voice. I began to hear running behind me and my legs couldn't bare to run anymore. I heard a louder growl and knew whatever it was it was close. I ran anyways wanting to keep my life and not get eaten by that animal.

Something grabbed at my ankle and jerked me back. I gasped as I fell and a dog like body got on top of me and grawled lowly in my ear. I gasped in fear and stayed still to see if it would help. The animal got off me and went around and stood in front of me. Slowly I looked at it. Oh my god I'm going to die. Its gonna eat me.

A wolf stood in front of me and licked its lips as it stared at me I didn't make eye contact with it. I knew if I did it would eat my face off. I sat up very slowly and dusted leaves off me. There were dirt all over my hands and probably on my face too. I stood up and my legs tingled with pain from running. I looked at the side of the wolfs face and then looked at its large body. It was a little bigger then Shar and i bet it was a boy from the way it grawled earlier. It was beautiful if I put aside my fear. He was black with a cute pink nose and one of his paws were white. He tilted his head to side as if he was confused. I blinked and finally looked at his eyes. They were sparkling when they stared at me and they were a dark sky blue. I starred into his beautiful face for a minute and noticed he wasn't attacking me. He tilted his head to the other side.

I cleared my throat softly and whispered "I need to get home." He grawled and i jumped back. He jumped on me and made me fall to the floor. My eyes widen as he rolled around on top of me like a puppy. He licked the dirt off my hands and face and I couldn't help but giggle and whip the slobber off my face with my sleeve. He looked at me with a goofy face and rubbed his body on me. I petted him and he layed in my lap purring. I smiled and said to him "Your so cute." He made a cute wolfy noise as if agreeing and I giggled. I thought of something to name him. I looked at him and tangled my fingers in his furr and said "I'm gonna name you..... Wolfy." He made a happy puppy nose and rubbed his nose on my face and I giggled hardly. I felt like a child with a big puppy.

I cuddled my face into his soft furr and felt sleep come over me.

When I woke up I could feel Wolfy breathing on my face. I opened my eyes slowly and saw his eyes starring at me. I petted his soft furr and he closed his eyes. I kissed his chin and sat up slowly rubbing my eyes. My eyes widened once I realized I'm missing school. "Oh crap I forgot today's Monday!" I stood up and so did Wolfy. We walked to my house since it was literally at the edge of the foresty woods. I went up to the back porch and looked at Wolfy. I opened the slide door and said to him "Would you like to come in?" As if he was a human and he went inside wagging his tail. I giggled and went in closed the silde door and locked it.

Good thing Shar was in my room with the door closed. I looked at my Wolfy and saw him sitting on his cute butt looking at me with his cute puppy eyes. I smiled and petted his head. "So cute." He wagged his tail and made a wolfy grin if that was even possible for wolves to smile.

I took my phone out and tried to unlock it but it was dead. I set it on the table and sighed. I sat at the kitchen table and whispered "I can't believe Liam Sterling was going to talk to me and I ran." I looked at Wolfy and his head was tilted to the side. I giggled and said to him "He's the bad boy at my school." I sat next to him on the floor and went on. "I was at the football field and I saw him there but I didn't think he noticed me until he looked at me and came walking towards me all weird like. I ran to the woods and then I met you." I poked his chest and he grinned. I kissed his face and petted him.

He seemed like a pet wolf so what was he doing in the woods? Maybe he got lost. I shruged at my thoughts. "There's no use in going to school now." I said to myself. I bit at my lip and Wolfy got up and scratched at the slide door. I got up and opened it for him. I knew I couldn't keep him anyway.. He ran out and I saw golden eyes on a white wolf. I gasped. It was more beautiful then any wolf I've ever seen. He held my gaze and disappeared with Wolfy in the woods.
