T0x1c - Idol Dream AU [Dreambur]

[Chapter 1]

"See you next week Clay!" My Manager calls, smiling as I leave the building, My long blonde hair covered in a dark wig, tied in a messy bun, a dark hoodie covering his lean physique and a pair of dark jeans with white sneakers, weaving into the streets unnoticed. 

I hope they won't be suspicious the day I was busy to stream lined up with my- well t0x1c's concert.

Is his thoughts as he gets home, clicking his tongue slightly and bending down to gently scratch Patches behind the ear he puts away his bags and takes off his wig, ruffling his blonde hair out of its ties so it gently falls around his face, fluffing slightly.

Logging onto Teamspeak he noticed Wilbur was streaming alongside Tommy, Dream smiles and goes into Teamspeak, "Hi!" Dream wheezes, covering up his persona as t0x1c. 

Dream who pulled open Wilbur's stream on a seperate monitor, watches as Wilbur perked up, "Dream!" his accented voice, "I thought you weren't planning on coming on today." Dream snorts, "Yeah, It turns out my schedule cleared up a lot quicker than I thought it would so here I am-" "Isn't it almost 2 AM where you are?" Dream freezes as he hears Tommy cut in, swatting at his minecraft character.

Dream laughs sheepishly, "Maybe?" Wilbur clicks his tongue disapprovingly, "Go to bed Dream." Dream whines a bit, "Fine... in 10 minutes?" You could hear the pronounced pout in his voice.

Wilbur flusters a little before shaking his head, "Fine only 10 minutes though." Tommy laughs, "Simp." and it goes from there.

12 minutes later Wilbur hears a soft snore, from Dream's mic, Tommy shrieks at being blown up before being shushed by Wilbur and the chat.

"He's... snoring..." Wilbur whispers, voice low, "I'm going to disconnect him from the call." Wilbur does so smiling fondly.

Did you see how cute that was?

Dreambur? Cannon?

I wanna hear him snore come on wilbur!

Wilbur laughs at the influx of comments.

Dream wakes up, blinking blearily at his monitor, I fell asleep again... atleast I have a free day today... George and Sapnap are going to be so mad.

Speaking of the two... His monitor rings with a call from George, most of the others in the SMP on already. Shit...

Dream answers it, voice husky from just waking up, "Heyy Gogy..." he quietly rasped.

On the other side of one of the calls Wilbur shivered at the sound of Dreams voice.

That's not even remotely fair. I'm simping for a tea kettle who somehow sounds like that in the morning.

 "What the hell were you doing that had you out until 2 AM?" George asked, voice filled with annoyance, concern and anger simultaneously.

Dream huffs annoyed, No use in lying... or completely telling the truth. "Work has been kicking' my ass havin' me out later, recently." Dream says in answer, Tubbo ever curious had to ask, "You know, what exactly do you do for work? It sounds like if your late even once you'll get fired."

Dangit Tubbo... "If I was late it'd ruin a lot of things, today's my off day unless I get called in." Tommy makes a noise of displeasure, "Imagine having a job that calls on me whenever-" he begins before Schlatt cuts in, "How did you get such a demanding job, you know since you quit high school. No offense."

Dream rolls his eyes, not like they could see, at the obvious attempt at a subtle insult, "Can't say, it's secret legally and past that it's all I'm allowed to mention."

The others make noises of interest, Sapnap coughs to interrupt any further dismission of Dream's statement, "Everything is a secret with you! I don't even know what you look like!" Sapnap sounded legitimately angry, I shouldn't reveal how I look... I'll just come up with a fake appearance.

"I don't really feel comfortable showing my face over screen, unless we meet in real life but... I suppose It can't hurt to describe myself a bit." Dream could feel them perk up, 

Dream hummed, "I have reddish brown hair, a bit more on the red side, not ginger red though, and grey-ish yellow eyes.... or so people tell me." That's a good base, I could find some shoes to make me look taller and somethings to make me look flatter and different.

"I'm about 6"4, My hair is a bit longer than shoulder length, but I prefer It in a messy bun, I also have freckles." Dream finishes with a huff, the others were shocked he so easily gave away what he looked like after years, George hummed, "Since we know what you look like... theoretically, some American friends said there was a good singer coming to town, called 't0x1c'? since it's in Florida we should all go down and hangout around then no?" 

Dream was about to object, "Yeah 've been to one of his concerts when he was touring in California. He's not bad, and it'll give us a chance to meet." Techno says, which stirred some of the others to agree, (Wilbur, George, Sapnap, Fundy, Tommy, Tubbo, Bad and of course Techno himself.)

It's trouble but... it's too quiet in the house, and theirs tons of room... I'm sure I can keep being t0x1c a secret by pretending to work under him for so much money.

Dream clears his throat, voice less raspy, "My house is big enough to probably house you all... if you don't mind sharing a room with someone?" 

"Sure!" Tubbo cheers, "Sounds fine with me," George says. 

Dream smiles softly, despite the danger of revealing himself... he really wants to meet his friends.

Dream stands up, Chair sliding back, "Okay! I need to get some more food to stock up the second fridge... " He murmurs, "How long should I buy for? In snacks since I'll have to buy foods with every other week depending..."

The others in the call were silent, before Sapnap laughs, "You're such a mother hen Dream. How does... 2 weeks sound?" There were multiple agreements and Dream couldn't help but laugh happily.

I just need to keep up with my diet without them noticing. Grimacing at the thought of having to gag up extra food he eats for the next 2 weeks as they plan for plane tickets.

I'm not to sure how idol life works, or teamspeak for that matter so I just modelled it after what I know from celebrities and other communication apps, Dream had to go through training since he was 11, 2 years before he befriended Sapnap and has been publicly noticed since he was 18, so 3 years, he has Diets and workouts and personas he has for different things.

He's a great actor too cause he's idol, so Singer/Model.
