Darcy's POV
Lara and I were still on FaceTime and Luke was acting like a bitch. "Can we hang up now?" I whispered to her she looked at me for a brief second and hung up. "What's wrong?" She asked "Luke, that's what's wrong." She nodded and gave me a sympathetic look.
The rest of the night we ate pizza and were on our phones. We finally went to sleep after an hour. I thought about today's events, I was really mad at Luke, I know I kissed Michael but he has no right to call me a slut. I stopped thinking and tried to get some sleep.
Lara's POV
I woke up to the sound of the doorbell, I quickly got up and opened the door. It was about 10 AM and Luke was standing at my door. "What?" I say obviously pissed at him. "I want to see Darcy." he says looking past my shoulder "No, she dosen't want do see you." I say coldly.
"Just let me see her." he pleaded "Luke just go." I say he said no and pushed past me, making me fall. What the fuck? "LUKE LEAVE HER ALONE GOD DAMN IT." I say getting really mad. Of course he did not listen. Ashton and Cal came in "Hey what happened and why are your pajamas ripped?" Ash says looking at my blue penguin pajamas. That had ripped because Luke decided to push me onto a sharp edge.
"It's fine but Luke went to my room come with me." I say they nod and go to my room with me.
Darcy's POV
I was awoken by the sound of yelling and thumping in the living room. Suddenly the door flies open, "Darcy." Luke breathed. I looked down "What the hell do you want." I say he came a little closer. "Do not touch me." I say warning him. "Darcy, I'm sorry ok? I didn't mean to call you a slut it was a mistake I was really mad and upset because I really like you and stuff." He said his voice cracking at the end.
"Luke please just leave." I say on the verge of tears. "but Darc-LUCAS JUST LEAVE ALREADY!" With that he put his head down and walked out. Ashton, Lara and Calum were watching in the door way. Luke left and I sighed and sat down I was too tired to cry anymore it would physically hurt to cry again.
I knew I was going to forgive Luke but I just don't think right now is the right time.
As much as I would like to wrap his in my arms and cuddle with him right now I can't do that. When we cuddle he loves it because he lies down next to me face to face and our legs wrap against Eachother as our foreheads touched. I sighed and everyone was still standing their. "Forget about it guys." I say trying to break the silence.
Ashton didn't hear me anyway he was to busy sitting on the chair checking Lara out. "Uh Lara you pants weren't ripped yesterday..." I ask confused "Oh I tripped when I was downstairs." She said smiling nervously. I nodded slowly. "Well I'm going home Darcy do you want me to take you home?" Calum says I nod. I quickly grab my stuff and put on my clothes from yesterday.
"Ashton you coming with?" Calum asks He nods no and I shot Lara a look smirking and giggled. I gave her a hug before I left "Thanks for everything." She smiled and said you welcome and with that Calum and I left. "It's not fucking fair!" He slammed "What isn't, Calum?" I was confused. "That she likes Ashton, like have you seen the way they look at each other when they think no one is looking, why do you think I left?" He said obviously really mad and jealous.
"Aww Cal you like her?" I ask he blushes and nods. "I'm sorry about that." he smiled slightly and drove away.
Lara's POV
Darcy and Cal just left, "So what's up?" I ask awkwardly breaking the silence. He laughed, "We have school tomorrow, he reminded." Oh shit school = I have to do the homework I haven't done yet. "Oh shoot I have homework" I say "I'll help you with it if you want." He says smiling.
"Sure if you want." I say slightly embarrassed. I got my backpack out and took out the English and Math homework. "Ooh what book did you get for the reading groups?" He asked enthusiasm oozing from his voice. "oh I got When The Emperor was Divine." I said passing him the book. "It's a pretty good book actually, it's probably a little confusing though I had to read it about three times to understand." He laughed.
"Oh wow." I say damn why do I have to be so awkward. I took my phone out and looked for a song to play. "What song do you wanna listen to?" I asked Ash. "uhh I don't know." he said I passed him my phone and he looked through my music. He settled on 'Down' by bring me the horizon.
I liked that song, "So your homework for English is just to read chapters 1-5 right?" He asked "Yup." I say popping the p he chuckled. "I'm going to do the Math homework real quick." I say he nodded. We talked a little in the 10 minutes it took me to work on the math.
I could feel his eyes on me, I finally finished and he smiled. "Hey can I ask you a question?" He asked I nodded "of course." I replied "Where are your parents..?"
Ashton's POV
Her green brown eyes turned to black when I asked her the question I immediately regretted it. "Well um I kind of ran away from them...my stepdad he would constantly abuse me and my mom and she wouldn't do anything about it so I couldn't stand it. So I came here to hide away from that monster called a human.." She said cringing her eyes filled with tears.
"-He treated us as if we were some animal. Not living human beings who have feelings and a heart that cares. It's been going on ever since I was little. A year after my dad died in a car crash my mom got re-married. I hated him from the first time I saw him." She said wiping her eyes dry. I held her hand softly.
"Now he's just an alcoholic and finds pleasure when he sees the woman he claims he loves and her daughter experience horrible pain." it broke me on the inside to see her like that. She was like me in many ways. I hugged her tightly as if it was gonna pick her up and put her broken and shattered pieces together.
