POV: Authors
It was passing period.
The students rushed around to find they're lockers. It was still pretty quiet ever since this recent incident but, there were a few smiles or laughs.
Kiera walked into Ms. Lee's class.
The mother of Ray.
Kiera walked straight to her desk, looking at her softly with a little happy smile on her face. "Have a good day Ms. Lee, I'll be here for you if you need anything." Kiera said.
Ms. Lee's face lightened up. Her eyes brightened, causing her frown to turn into a smile. "Thank you, Kiera." Kiera nodded and walked to her desk. She put down her books and placed her bookbag next to her desk.
Layla slowly walked in. She didn't look at anyone else besides Kiera. She smiles widely and sat next to her. "Hi😊" Layla softly said. Kiera replied, "Hey. How are you.?"
"I'm ok. I'm doing better then before." Layla said to her.
"That's good." Kiera gave her a sweet, softening smile.

POV: Layla.
Kiera has one of the most comforting smiles ever..
It honestly gave me butterflies.
Wait butterflies?
I haven't have butterflies in a while....not even from Ray.
hm. I smiled at her as I opened my book and got ready for class. Kiera did the same.
I peeked at her a sec.
Her long hair..
Perfect smile..
Deep dark brown eyes..
She was truly beautiful.

I can't believe no one notices her.
I looked back down at my book when the teacher spoke. "Guys books away. You have a free period. I'm still shaken up about my son..I don't have the courage or energy to teach right now.." Ms.Lee said to the class.
Free Period!
I love getting out of class.
But, at the same time, I feel bad for having a free period. Especially in Ms.Lee's class.
She loves to teach! But knowing that she lost...Ray, breaks my heart.
Everyone started to rush out, kids laughed and cheered as they walked out but, Kiera stayed back.
I was getting up ready to leave but I just couldn't. Something told me that I had to say with Kiera and Ms.Lee.
I saw Kiera get up and rush to Ms.Lee, giving her the most comforting hug ever. Ms.Lee bursted into tears, her sobs filled the classroom and could be heard from the hallway. I frowned as I walked over to the door and shut it. I rushed over to them, going the hug. "it will be ok.." Kiera whispered. Kiera pulled away from the hug and looked at both of us. "Both of you guys didn't deserve that pain but, it will be alright I promise." My stomach started to flutter.
Her voice is so soothing, the way she slurs her words, her accent makes it even better.
I smiled at her, so did Ms.Lee.
"Thank you Kiki." I randomly blurted out.
Kiera looked at me confused. "Kiki..?"
My eyes widened as I started to panic" "Kiera I mean! Yeah, Kiera." I got embarrassed and I hid my face. "No don't hide your face, Kiki's a cute Nick name. Thanks for that 😌" She said to me.
Wow.
I don't know what it is about her but..I'm so happy we became friends. I love being friends with her. I can't believe I haven't noticed this earlier.
