The King and the Assassin [Klance]

Prologue

When Lance was young he was born prince and heir to the throne of Altea. His younger sister by 1 year Allura is the nicest and most supportive of Lance.
When Lance turned 10 he woke up like normal and dressed himself . He walked to the dinner when he walked in his sister and father gasped horrified by the huge purple and red mark on lances cheek. Tho it was not the first injury that has popped up on Lances face but that was when Lance was told about soulmates Lance started crying when he thought of his soulmate in pain like that.

Present day- Lance is now 23 and still starts to tear up with every bruise and burn mark that appears on him only to slowly fade. He just wishes to find his soulmate to save them from the torture.

Keith
When Keith was young he learned about soulmates at an early age from his mother when his father wasn't home to beat them. Keith's mother was an amazing person but her husband would come home from the bar in the village he owned half drunk and always with another lady. His mother was always in pain, trying to take care of her son and protect him from the monster of her husband. One day his father went to far.

His father came home more drunk than normal, Keith's mother quickly took the dinner she made and put it on the table for her soulmate. She smiled Warily as he walked towards her with 14 year old Keith behind her. Long story short after an hour Keith was on his knees crying outside of a burning house with both his mother and father inside.

After a few days Keith was on the streets in the Galra Empire with guards stealing his food and beating him up. Durning his time in the streets prince Lotor came through the town and his eyes landed on Keith. The young prince fell for the purpled eyed boy immediately and ordered for him to come back to the castle with him. There Keith was tortured for trying to get away from the prince. One day there was one guard who showed Keith how to fight hand to hand and how to use a knife. After awhile Keith became better than the guard teaching him. Keith you know was able to run away and soon Keith met the blade. A group of people who protect citizens from the galra and save royalty of alteans when there was an assassination. They had inside sources and good weapons.
Present day- Keith is now 22 and is the best fighter in the blade. He teaches the children to fight and how to read and write. Keith looks scary but he's a kind hearted person. He is 5'3 has black hair in a mullet but normally up in a ponytail. He has Amethyst eyes that shine in the sun. Maybe that's why his father hated him, he has his mother's eyes.

Prince Lotor is still searching for Keith even though he knows he isn't his soulmate.
