"It's release day" they said at the sound of their glasses clinking. The crew decided to have a little get together for Drake's new single.
"This shit gonna go number 1 so fast my guy, you did it again boss" chubbs said while walking over to drake.
They partied a little with familiar faces until it was time to wrap it up for the night.

Nicki and Kenny had an amazing honeymoon in Turks for about a week until it was time to go home.
Once they hopped off the plane they were chauffeured back to their LA home.
"Ay, does your radio work" Kenny asked the driver "I don't really like sitting in silence" Nicki just turned her head to the window out of embarrassment.
"Wassup it's 101.1 the beat your home for the biggest hits in LA. Today we have Drake's new single called 'For You' playing every top of the hour so without further due here it is"

I wish you would let that other man go' Drake sung in a melodic tone.
That's all she had to hear to know that it was about her. Her face turned red just hearing the song and she hopped that kenny didn't see any of the emotions she was trying to process while listening.

He sat down at his island in his kitchen and reflected on his party turn out.
"When we going back to Toronto?" Chubbs said throwing him out of his trance
"Tomorrow, I think. Or the day after that. I know it's stupid but I don't wanna leave without seeing her again, I really want closure."
"Didnt you see her the night before her honeymoon? That wasn't closure?"
"It was probably for her but not for me, I don't know my gut is telling me somethi-" he was cut off by the sound of his phone ringing.
'Unknown Caller' was all it showed.
He lifted a finger to let chubbs know he was going to take the call in other room, not knowing what to expect.
"Are you serious? You just make a song that you know I would and you know that I would soon figure out it's about me instead of just-" she yelled through the phone
"Whoa whoa, nic calm down. I promise it wasn't to upset you"
"So what it was just to let me figure out that you in fact arent over me but through song? You're a grown ass man Aubrey! You can fucking communicate correctly"
"I thought you were the one to make it clear that we can't keep doing what we were doing. And you knew for a fact that I was never over you, I don't know when the hell I'll ever be over so stop acting so surprised" he said while visibly being upset
"If you were going to release a song that is about me the least you could've done is tell me. I hope you know how hard for me this is. For fucks same after that night I didn't think I would have to deal with this anymore"
"Deal with what? Deal with the fact that you hide your emotions and want to act like you're so happy with your husband but had no fucking problem basically acting like you were in a relationship with me the day before your honeymoon! you're not the victim you think you are"
"You know what fuck you Aubrey. You see where I'm at now and it's not with you! Take that into fucking consideration" and wish those last words she rightly hung up.
He sat on his couch with his phone in his head in his hand.
Everyone in the house was visibly startled due to the fact that everyone heard him yelling.
"Should we go check on him?" Mark questioned
"Nah give him a breather I'm sure he needs it"

Nicki was grateful Kenny was out with the boys. It gave her to time release her emotions.
Right after the phone call she slide down the wall in tears.
'How did it ever get like this?' She thought to herself.
She walked into her closet and opened the box that had most of anything Drake has ever gave her in it.
It was all in a box that was in a hidden corner due to not wanting her husband to find out.
She looked at the necklace that said "Onika" in a gold plaque cover with rose gold diamonds and remembered the day he gave that to her.
Seeing those things gave her reassurance that they'll be back to normal soon. She knew she had kinda went too far this time but she only did it because she was upset. Aubrey was her best friend before anything so seeing the strain in their relationship made her emotional and she didn't know any other way to release those emotions then to just instantly snap.
When truly the only person she was mad at was her self for the choice she made.
And that choice not being him.
