Catherine was not driving her own car. Rather she was driving one of those black government cars you see in the films. And despite the blacked out windows she got the feeling the the cattle were watching. There heads raised and eyes  which were front facing, locked on to her vehicle.

Not that she paid much attention. The narrow and winding road required the upmost focus. Still it was unnerving.

It was very sunny. And slightly breezy. And hot. Just like you'd expect. Gold fields of soy lined the road going on seemingly endlessly. She wondered briefly about who might manage such expansive plots of land.

She thought that the name sunnyfeilds was quite appropriate. No lies were told in the two word town name.

After what felt like an eternity but couldn't have been more than an hour she had arrived at the town its self.
It was a interesting cluster of buildings to say the least.

She drove down main street taking it all in. The stores and restaurants were built into what could be described as brick walls the lined the streets windows letting you see into the buildings only barely. It looked old but not worn.

In the middle of it, surround by a nice lawn was a court house that was very well designed. Red brick with a grey shingle roof, white pillars, and a clock and bell. intricate designs creeping there way up like ivy, drawing ones eye to a decorated figure in long robes with three sheep heads where the normal human one should be. She admired it from her ominous black vehicle.

She continued making her way down. Even as she approached the edge of the town she saw no marks of corporations.
Only the small business that must of been contained to this town alone.
She wondered briefly how the town made its money before realizing all the fields of soy that she drove through.

Continuing to the very edge she found a motel. Which had the lovely name of 'marts inn'. She Parked in what was the only parking lot she'd seen in the town so far.

She then made her way to the front desk.

At the desk was a girl about her age who looked as bored as they come. She continued reading her book. Not paying attention to Catherine.
"...um... excuse me...?"
That was enough to get the girls attention.
"Yes, what is it?" The girl looked up from her book.
"How much is it to rent a room?"
