Chapter 25

Chapter 25: Concert surprise

Louis’ POV:

“Come on Lou! We have to go.” Liam yelled at me.

“I know.”

“We’re on in a couple of hours and we need sound check and styling first! Come on already” Zayn yelled.

“I’m coming!” I said running down to the car. I got in and we drove away. ”So, what is that surprise you told me about, lads?”

“We won’t tell you. You’ll find out.” Niall said.

“But I want to know now!” I pouted.

“Boo bear… I’ll promise you: you’ll love the surprise and it’s gonna be a great show, ok? Don’t think about it too much.” Harry said putting an arm around my shoulder. I hate when he’s being like that…

“But…”

“No but! Now let’s get to work. Sound check first” Liam said as we arrived at the concert hall.

“Fine dad…” I mumbled.

We spent several hours getting ready. It was painful because I couldn’t think about anything else then that surprise… What could it be?

Jenna’s POV:

“I’ve changed my mind. I’m not going.”

“Jenna Allison Wood, you are going even if I have to drag you all the way there!” Alice threatened. She used my full name... She never did that unless she really meant it.

“Fine… But I have nothing to wear.”

“Put on that dress you bought yesterday!” she yelled from the bathroom. I did as I was told and put it on. It looked amazing on me. It really showed of my long legs and my curves. It was adorable.

“There. Now I have.”

“You look great, Jen. Now to make-up and hair” Alice said.

“Ok.”

“How about you get some long snake curls? Like Taylor Swift has.” She suggested.

“Good idea. And then some light make-up and red lip-gloss.”

“Yes!”

We spent an hour getting our hair and make-up done before finally walking out the door. We were both in dresses and high heels (even though I was not very good at walking in them at that point). We both looked gorgeous if I can say so myself. We got in the taxi and drove to the concert hall. There were so many girls here (and a couple of boys). It was impossible to get trough. When we finally did we found our seats which were on front row. After everyone had found their seats the show started.

“Hello everyone” Harry said into the microphone. Everyone screamed. “How are you today?” scream again. “It sounds like you’re having a good day” He joked.

“So were gonna do some songs for you guys and at the end there will be a little surprise for our friend Louis here” Zayn said laying his arm around Louis’ shoulder.

He had his red pants and striped shirt on. It suits him so well. Wait… A surprise? I looked at Alice who was smiling wide.

hey started to sing and talked to the audience in between the songs. I had have eye contact with all of the boys except Louis.

“So now it’s time for the surprise for Louis. I hope you like it.” Niall said.

“So the story is: We met these two cute girls at a ‘meet and greet’ last time we were here and Louis kinda fell in love with one of them. She moved to London with her parents and we became good friends with this girl.” Harry started. Louis looked on him with wide eyes like i did with Alice.

“They dated for a while but broke up because of , well... complications.”  Liam continued. The audience ‘buh’-ed. I couldn’t help but smile.

“She moved back to this town after the break up and they stopped talking together. Louis was totally broken after a mistake he made. And we’ve been told that she was too.” Zayn said. Louis looked down a little embarresed. 

“Now they are gonna meet again. Give a big hand to Jenna Wood!” Niall said pointing at me. ¨My mouth dropped and I could feel a tear slip down my cheek. The audience clapped as I got lifted up on stage by one of the bodyguards.

I stood there facing Louis. I looked in his beautiful eyes.

“So Jen… Something you want to say to Louis?” Harry said giving me his microphone.

“I’m… I can’t believe this. You made this up?” I asked.

“Actually I didn’t know about it. I didn’t even know you were here…”

“Well I’m glad the boys did this. I’ve missed you so much” I said and hugged him.

“I’ve missed you too” he said into my hair still with the microphone close to his mouth. The audience ‘aww’-ed. 

“So this is the last song for tonight. It’s called ‘Gotta be you’!” Liam said.

It was my favorite song of theirs. And to have them sing it to me in particular was incredible. They went off stage and pulled me with them so I could talk to Louis in private.

“I can’t believe it! You’re actually here!” Louis said and hugged me again.

“I know…”

“You look amazing!” he said.

“Thanks…”

“What’s wrong?” He asked noticing my voice.

“I… have Harry told you about Gabby?” Louis' face went pale and his mouth dropped.

“How did you know about her?”

“I saw pictures of you to making out… and I kinda know her from school. I once told you about that girl every boy wanted, right? Well that was her.”

“What?! Jenna, I didn’t know!”

“I know… Harry told me what you did and that It was his fault. But I don’t think I can forgive you.” I said almost crying by now.

“Jen… We just got together again… It was a drunken fault and I regretted the moment I did it.”

“I know, but... I'm sorry I can't” I said before running down the hall.
