Sheila's screams deafen us, the perpetrator long gone having crawled under the hatch of the front door. Nevertheless, Sheila continues to throw a tantrum.
"Grow up" Felicity mutters and continues scrolling pointlessly through her phone.
"Whats wrong with you?" I can feel the tension in the air, washed only by Sheila's shrieks. Felicity ignores me and continues scrolling, annoyed I walk up to her and glare at her indifference.
"I said, what is wrong with you?" This time I emphasise my words and make sure she hears them. From the corner of my eye I can see Riko and Sheila anxiously despairing over how she'll respond. A pang of guilt makes it's way into me but I push it away. Felicity has been irritable since the beginning of the flight and her attitude is really starting to piss me off.
"Huh?" She looks up from her phone completely unfazed. I grit my teeth and in a regretful moment of blind anger I slap the phone out of her hands.
"What the hell" there's intense rage in her eyes. Satisfied of having provoked a reaction, I let myself smirk and say,
"Glad you could join us, miss Bonaparte."
Though the sentence is dripping with sarcasm, I let myself gloat in the victory of having won over her attention.
