A large round table was provided for them. The Wei family had it reserved in advance in a private room.
The basket ball team had freshened up before going to the restaurant. Each had currently sat and was freely conversing with each other.
They were all waiting for food that would be arriving shortly as announced by their waiter for the night.
They had each introduced themselves before getting comfortable.
'So what course are you taking at the University?' That question was directed to Mian.
Hui had asked this stirring a murmur among themselves secretly questioning as well.
Mian only hang out with a few people. Her classmates and Xiuling who would occasionally bring her bestfriend.
The boys knew she was lovable bit not sociable.
Mian just didnt think it was necessary. Students in school barely saw her.
'Im doing design.' She simply replied biting nervously on her bottom lip.
Hui smiled sweetly at her reply.
'Sister in law?' Gu called out to her and she turned her attention to the cheeky man around her age.
'I hear you're taking your masters? Is that true?'
Everyone gasped at the new information.
Mian simply looked down at the hands in her palms trying to forget the stares on her. She was beyons nervous. Not this much attention had been drawn to her for a while.Yoongi could feel her shaking beside him, he knew her anxiety was kicking in.
It had been a long time since she had an attack. Yoongi almost forgot she experiences those.
He easily placed his hand on hers under the table and she grabbed onto it as if her life depended on it.
Mian couldnt help but squeeze it. So many stares were on her it was just too un barerable.
Her head bopped up and down replying to Gu's question before looking down at the hand holding hers.
A smile tugged at the corners of her lips, grateful to Yoongi that he was the one beside her. She wouldnt want anyone else.
She began tracing the veins that popped out on his hand with her peach manicured nail. He laced his fingers with her small one. Letting the hand settle on her laps.
She could now concentrate on the conversation before her.
Hui couldnt help grab her glass of water gulping the liquid in one go just as the food had arrived.
She had witnessed everything expressed between the two oblivious ones.
She cursed at herself for sitting on Yoongi's other side.
