Chapter 3

Brantley's Pov:

I woke up and Amber was still asleep so I got dressed and left. I didn't know where I was going just that I needed to clear my head. I was shocked when I realized I was in Addy's drive way. I got out and rang the door bell no one came so I knocked again just silence on my end. I called and I could hear her cell ringing until she stoped it after the thrid ring. I knocked again.

"Addy please let me in" I ask

Nothing

"Please just talk to me"

Silence

"Addy I'm sorry I didn't know that was going to happen. You can't be mad at me for something I didn't even do. Angel please" I beg

That done it I heard foot steps and the front door came flying open.

"Don't you dare call me that Brantley you lost that right the day you broke up with me for her. And another thing I don't want to hear your damn apologies now get off my land and lose my number" she yells and slams the door in my face.

I stood there hurt and feeling like someone just tore my heart out. I walked to my truck and drove away. I needed to be alone so I went to Potts Farms. I was just sitting on the tail gate thinking and ignoring my phone. After about the 50th call I answered.

"What?" I answered harshly

"Baby where are you?" Amber asked

"None of your business" I answered

"Brantley you better not be over at Addy's" she says

"I'm a grown ass man and can go where I want but no I'm not over there" I say pissed.

"When are you going to be home?" She asked.

"When I show up" I say hanging up.

I sit there for another hour or so and head to see moma. I pull into her driveway and she meets me on the porch.

"Hey baby" she says smoling

"Hey darlin" I say half smiling back.

"What's troubling you baby?" Moma ask as we walk into the house.

Moms pours me some sweet tea and I fill her in on everything that has happened. She sits and listens without butting in while I spill my heart out. When I'm finished she hugs me and says...

"Baby your in love with two women and it sounds to me Amber is jealous. But you can't have them both Brantley" moma says

"I know moma" I say

We talk some more and after a few hours I head home. I walk in and head straight for the shower. While I'm in the shower Amber comes in and starts her shit I just ignore her. As I'm getting dressed she is still at it. Finally I can't take anymore of it.

"Amber you need to leave" I say

"What?" She asks

"You heard me I can't take your shit" I say

"Brantley you can't be serious?" She says

"I am so pack your bags and go" I say

She starts the water works begging not to go but I just ignored her and went about my business. She finally left and I texted Kolby and asked him to talk to Addy for me which he agreed.
