"Hartley"  She groaned a reply to her grandma from her bedroom, "Wake up! It's arrived!"

Upon realization, Hartley shot up and ran out of her room. She raced down the stairs and to the living room where her grandparents were waiting. She came to the doorway out of breath.

"Where is..." Hartley started trying to catch her breath. She took a few seconds to finish "My letter?"

"Right here!" Hartley’s grandfather replied, holding up an envelope, "Your Hogwarts acceptance letter." He grinned handing it to her.

Hartley quickly read the letter aloud for her grandparents to hear. Once she had finished reading it Henry and Mary pulled Hartley into a hug, "We are so proud of you!" Mary said, "You've grown up so fast! I know your mom and dad would be proud of you too."

Hartley's parents had died fighting death eaters. She had been raised by her grandparents Henry and Mary Potter. Her grandparents had been her parents throughout her life. When she was a kid her grandparents would tell her stories of them.

"As if!" Hartley teased with a smile resting on her face.

Hartley noticed something sitting on the coffee table, "And that? Are those presents?" She asked as they released each other from the group hug.

"Exactly!" Henry said as he pulled out his wand, "We should celebrate this day with a great gift!" He levitated the gifts over to her.

Hartley looked at the presents over and over again. She decided to open the small box shaped one first. She pulled out a small, white, beaded handbag, "A... handbag?"

"It's no ordinary handbag." Mary said as she took the handbag, "This was your mom’s when she was in school. Carrying supplies was becoming too hard for her, so she placed an Undetectable Extension Charm on it. It can hold very many things without getting heavier." She handed it back to her granddaughter, "And now it's yours."

Hartley momentarily let her smile drop before returning to her usual smile, "Thank you so much! You have no clue how much this meant to me!" She said as she hugged her grandmother.

"My turn! Open mine" Henry joked pointing to his gift to her.

She ripped open his package and pulled out a black fabric, "It is.. it is... a cloak?" She looked at it confused.

"Yes a cloak." Henry said with a matter of fact tone as he took the cloak in his hands, "But a very special one."

"What's so special about it?" Hardley questioned.

"Wear it and you'll see." Henry said, returning the clock "It isn't like other cloaks."

Hartley looked at it unsure before wrapping it around herself. She looked down amazed as her lower body disappeared, "Woah! An invisibility cloak! I’m gonna get myself into so much trouble with this. I mean I’m only going to use it for good things."

Henry smiled, "It's very ancient. It has been passed on for many generations." He suddenly got serious as he knelt in front of Hartley and put his hand on her shoulder, "Hartley, this cloak is a very precious object. You must make good use of it. Maybe don’t abuse it too much." He stood again, "Can you promise me that?"

"Okay, Grandpa." Hartley replied and smiled proudly, "I solemnly swear that I'll put it to good use… Most of the time."

Adhara stared out the window of her room anxiously. Her elbow rested on the windowsill and her head rested in her hand. Then, a gasp left her mouth when she saw an owl flying to her.

"Yes!" She stood up, "It's finally arrived! My letter!" She opened the window and the owl landed on the sill. she took the letter and paid the owl with a coin she had, then rushed out of her room.
