The Meeting

"Morgan is that you" I shouted as I stood in the entrance way to the round room, it was modermized to fit the feel of the rest of the building but it also had an 80s theme to it which made me feel very excited and also inspired to work i looked at morgan, i smiled and barled into him only just giving him time to stand, he picks me up and I cant help but laugh at his shocked face "Izzy what are you doing here cous and how did you even get in here" he put me down and I looked at him confused, had nobody in the family told him I was coming or hadn't hotch told him in advance " I thought I would let you find out this way morgan" I heard hotch say and I let go of Derek to look at him he was a man in his mid 30s and was wearing a suit " good morning sir sorry I'm so late I had some trouble finding you did I miss the briefing?" I asked and i heard the shocked gasps from around the room " it's no problem we will have Garcia catch you up on the plane she is actually accompanying us on this case so you will have a chance to meet the whole team" he turned to the rest of the team and I did as well taking in the faces of my new colleagues some I had already met from coming to see morgan at work before or at family gathering that they had attended but I knew this would be different " everyone this is agent Issabell Morgan she will be joining the team" I smiled at everyone and a older man I couldn't place spoke to me " well this is unexpected to have to morgans on the team but I'm sure you will love it here Issabell I'm David rossi but you can call me rossi" I shook his hand when I was slammed into from behind almost knocking rossi out" Izzy no way your the new agent?" I turned to see Garcia shocked face staring at me " hey Garcia long time no see and yep guess we get to work together now" I laughed hugging her I pulled away when a cough interrupted us " you'll have to meet the rest of the team on the plane Issabell we're wheels up in 30 do you have a go bag?" I turned to look at him " i do sir but it's in my car" I turned to look at morgan " hey cous do you mind coming with me so I don't get lost" the blond women sitting at the table who I didn't know yet couldn't help but laugh and Derek went red " sure Izzy let's go we will meet you guys at the plane" and with that derek was dragging me out of the room by my wrist and I knew he was gunna have a go at me on the way down but just before we left I heard rossi say " hey Spencer shes gone so you can stop staring now" i smiled at this, huh I thought to myself as we walked towards the elevators one of them was staring at me and he is called Spencer I'll have to talk to him on the plane if I get the chance i sighed and stepped into the elavator with derek.

" are you gunna explain then" derek asked as we got to my car and I grabbed my bag but he took it off me " I honestly thought someone would of told you before i arrived derek plus i didn't actually realise that it would be your team I ended up with unil a few days ago" I stopped walking to face him " your not mad right?" He stopped and gave me a hug which I gave back immediately " Izzy of course I'm not mad this is gunna be loads of fun having you on the team plus you made the best impression on the team I've ever seen and believe me the girls will become your best friends once you get to know them but" even though we were alone he whispered to me " please be careful I couldn't handle if anything happened to you" I kissed him on the cheek before pulling my bag from him and laughed " your so sappy somethings derek now come on I wouldn't want to keep the team waiting after all we have a sicko to catch dont we" he smiled at me " you havent chance a bit since you were younger and i first joined the team" i laugh thinking back to when i used to pretend to be a agent just like derek and now i was " hey and just because im on the team now dosent mean you can stop treating me like a little sister just dont do anything stupid" i say punching him in the arm which hurt me " ha as if i would never stop" he said and i just sighed as we walked back towards the plane my heart beating fast thinking that i would finally get to work a case.

" ok everyone let's go over the case" I looked up to see a case file in front of me " Izzy are you joining us?" Rossi called " yeah sorry I was caught up in the book I'm reading" I said walking over and talking a seat next to a skinny guy who I think they called Reid I placed my book on the table and opened the case file " ok so last night a body was found in a rivean in a small town just on the boarder of Cleveland, the victim was 25 year old sandra cook she had her throat slashed and a single gun shot wound to the heart" I looked at the photo she was white about 5.5 and had long blond hair but there was something on her head " I'm guessing we are looking at victim 4 in our guys kill count" I say not talking to anyone around me in particular " the number on her head suggests he is marking them for something and the clean bullet wound shows that this isnt his first time killing either" I looked at garcia and she pulls up 3 more images " rightly as Izzy said that is our 4th victim these are the others all the same look but other than that it dosent seem to me like they have anything in common" i look at the photos closer but can't see anything " ok so we know that this guy goes after one type of women making him a preferential offender" the guy sitting next to me comments " my guess is that these women weren't forced into the alley were they were killed they look strong enough to put up a fight but there is no sign of restraints being used or defence marks so our guy probably isnt very strong or menacing" I add " well we wont be sure of anything until we land so when we do Morgan and prentiss I want you to go to the latest victim home and see what you can find there Issabell, Reid I want you two to hit the latest crime scene and the rest of us will head to the police station to start working on the evidence" I nod before everyone begins talking amongst themselves again I picked up my book and try to find the page i was on " 187" I hear who i now know to be reid say and I look over my book at him " I'm sorry i didn't quite here you did you say 187?" He also lowers the books he has to look at me with a friendly smile " I noticed you were looking for your page and I remember you closed it at 187" I flip to the page and find that he was right " that's very impressive I must admit Reid was it sorry I'm horrible with names" I go to dog tag the page so I dont lose it again but reid stops me " dont do that it runs the book pages here" he shuffles through his bag before handing me a beautiful feather book mark " and yes my name is Reid but please I hate that call me spencer" I stare at the book mark in aw of its bueaty before placing it in " well Spencer I'm glad we get to work together I'm going to get myself a drink would go like anything?" I see him smile a bit more before answering " no thank you but if I were you I would grab a lime soda they are wonderful" I smile before grabbing my book standing up " thanks for the advice" I then open book place the feather behind my war and walk down the plane to were I'm told the drink are to find the blond women pouring herself a coffee she smiles at me " hey Issabell you want one" " no thanks I'm not a coffee fan and please call me izzy i hate sounding so formal" I say pulling a lime soda from the little mini fridge " I haven't introduced myself yet I'm Jenifer but like you i hate being formal call me JJ" she said and I shake her hands placing my drink down to do so " so your JJ huh derek had told me about you quite a bit" I smile pulling the book mark from behind my ear to place it in " well you must tell me more come sit" I almost demands as I'm pulled to sit with her and who I gather is prentiss " hey Issabell I'm prentiss as im sure you know by now but please call me Emily we dont need to be formal" her smile is so addicting that I cant help but smile back " well it is very nice to meet you Emily again my cousin has told me loads about you all and like i told JJ please call me izzy" I place my stuff down and open my drink " lime soda huh did Reid recommend that to you?" JJ asked and I answered her after taking a sip " he did and I can see why its good" this made emily smile as she looks over her shoulder and she suddenly burst into laughter " what's so funny Emily" I ask but she just points to were Reid is sat " I think you have an admirer Izzy" JJ explained as derek went to sit with reid and I couldn't help but smile " dont know what you mean" I mock before taking the bookmark out and placed it behind my ear " well well what is this bueaty" JJ asks pilling the feather from my ear " oh it's a bookmark that Spencer gave to me he said that is shouldn't dog tag the pages as it ruins the book so he gave it to me" I looked up from the book to see both women's eyes glued to the pen " what is it special or something" I ask and emily looks at me " reid was given this by a little girl from one of this first cases he ever worked with the team and why did you call him Spencer and not Reid?" I didn't answer them for a moment as I was trying to process what they had just told me, the bookmark was special to him but he gave it to me seemingly without a second thought " are you ok?" JJ asked and I shook myself " yeah I'm ok to answer your question from before he told me to call him that" I looked over to him and Derek was smiling so i assumed everything was ok at least that's what I hoped was that case " everyone felt ready we'll be landing in a few minutes" hotches voice ran through the plane and I walked back to my stuff to get ready holding the feather in my hand the blue feathers giving me a sence of the ocean and being free i smiled at it beofre slipping it into the book beofre placing it back into my bag but i couldnt shake the though that was it was truly right for me to have something that clearly means so much to Spencer.
