I watched the defense work. They needed to stop this defense, so we could get back on the field. I needed to lead my team to the state championship. I watched as they gave up yard after yard. Then, out of the blue, Rob Jamison, a linebacker, applied a HUGE force to the running back. The ball rolled towards the 50 yard line, and my brother, Sage Thomas picked it up and ran it all the way for the game winning touchdown! We poured onto the field and picked up Rob and Sage and shouted "MVP!!!!"
How lucky we were, coming back from down 21 in the fourth quarter, to win this game and lead us to the Massachusetts State Championship.
