I again wake to the sight of the red room and glance towards Cindias. To find the worst predicament, he's passed out. I rush towards him and kneel beside him. My heart rushes as I look at him, wondering what possibly to do. When I feel a nudge on my arm.

"Domiens?" I whisper as he stands next to me. He goes down and licks his face to no avail, he's out cold.

"His magic is too weak, he can't fight the enchantment," I hear him speak inside my head.

"What are we gonna do?" I start to pace the room. Looking at the unconscious fire alpha in front of me.

"I do not know, this enchantment is so outlandish," I see him move to touch, as he recoils.

"Dark magic," he concludes, I stare at the purple hue of the chains.

"Why didn't I see it sooner," I exclaim.

"No one blames you, Dawn," he replies calmly as he looks down.

"But there might be a way to heal him," he exclaims.

"What is it?" I ask him.

"A very rare type of fire magic, rumored to even bring some back from the dead," he lies down, his head erects as he looks at me.

"What?" I exclaim astonished.

"It's called a Phoenix Mark, those branded with that power, have access to untold healing magic, but very few are given that mark," he explains.

"So, if I were to find someone with the mark, then I would be able to help Cindias," he nods, but I see his ear twitch as he looks at the entrance.

"Someone is coming, hide!" since this room is very barren I choose to hide by the wall with the entrance. To see three people come in.

"Look at the state he's in," one of the guards exclaim.

"The powerful fire alpha, reduced to this?!" the other laughs, but the head of the group shut them up, with a glance as he takes off the hood he was wearing, this one I wasn't surprised, nor happy to see.

"We're lucky he's in this sorry state, otherwise our job would have been all the harder," Prince Aiden exclaims, as he kneels and turns over Cindias so he's on his back. Then starts to search his chest cavity.

The search gets more frantic, as I realize what he's trying to find.

"They're trying to take the Ruby" I whisper shocked. This gets the attention of Aiden for a second before he resumes his work.

I feel a burning sensation in my stomach, these people are trying to take something that isn't theirs, all the while the man they are taking it from is unconscious and nearly dead? I feel a familiar burning sensation behind my eyes, as Domiens starts to look at me funny. But with orange eyes instead of his normal gold.

I see him stop, before reaching down one last time, he must have found it. No, no, no, NO!

Suddenly, a burst of fire shoots out of my hand and sends Aiden and the guards flying. The guards get slammed against the wall, as Aiden starts to stand, the hand he used to try and get the Fire Ruby, burned, nearly black. As he stares at where it came from, mainly me.

That was until I was shaken awake, to find Raina sitting over me, with a frightened look in her eyes.

"Dawn, are you alright?" she asks, I turn to see that part of the wallpaper was slowly burning away, from where I supposedly hit it.

"No, I'm not," I reply. I quickly unwrap her arms from my torso and quickly stand up, my legs wobbling slightly as I rush to the bookshelf.

"Dawn, what's going on?" she asks as I grab onto the bookshelf to support my weight. My fingers burning as I press them harder into the wood.
