OBSESSION

Chapter 3

Soon lunch time rolled around, and I got changed and left to meet up with Jayla.

I stopped at the old wooden rusted lunchroom door, "Geez they really need to upgrade this school." I whispered to myself, making me shiver slightly with disgust as I open the door.

I spotted Jayla running up to me with open arms.

And soon as she got close enough, without warning she pulled me in this bone crushing hug.

"I can't breath." I say in a high gasp. "Oh sorry." She said with a little giggle setting me down again.

I began coughing dramatically as my feet touched the floor, and took a step back from Jayla, and not a second later started laughing with her.

"Well, now that I can breath again, let's go grab some of this crappy school lunch." Jayla says, hooking an arm around my shoulder.

When we reach the counter, Jayla gets a plain turkey sandwich I go for the usual bagel and a chocolate milk.

We go to the table nearest to the back of the cafeteria not wanting to be noticed,

but I guess luck is not on my side because when we sat down 3 other people came over to our table and sat down with us.

"I suppose I can't just not be an attention magnet." I mumbled quietly to myself, looking up to see who joined us.

"Heyyy, Jose and JJ!" Jada, Leo, and Eli say at the same time. I roll my eyes and say a quick hi back with a fake smile before returning to enoying my lunch.

When all that was over, Jayla and I started to make our way outside the school.

"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow Jayla, goodbye get home safe." I say giving her a loving hug.

As Jayla was walking the opposite direction, I turn around and start making my way back to the school.

"Owen." Was the boy always on my mind. I will just wait outside until his practice is over. Then I can watch him to make sure he gets home safe. And no I don't talk to him. I don't have the courage to. Anyways.....

There he is, walking with his best friend. I quickly hide behind a wall watching him closely.

You'll be mine one day, I'll make sure of it.
What Jose didn't know is that Jayla had been watching her the whole time.

Sorry for the late update, I am back from the dead.💀 😂 I just lost inspiration but im gonna get back to you guys again.
