An avoided tragedy

Let the story begin

In a Kingdom far far away from any other kingdom there lived a beautiful Princess called Juliet. Juliet lived in the castle with her Father the King, her mother the Queen, her cousin the next in line Tybalt and all the servants in the Castle. As Juliet sat on her window sill, watching as the leaves danced in the wind she let her mind wonder. Around and around her mind went thinking about all her responsibilities as a Princess but also about her love life, will she ever find her love?

 Juliet didn't like being a Princess she wanted to do normal things that girls her age did like go to parties or go to a public school but because she was a Princess she couldn't, she was very unhappy. One day she decided to talk to her parents about going to a public school, she pleaded and begged but they did not budge. Juliet got in trouble for causing a fuss so she was sent to her room and was not allowed to go outside until she apologised to her parents. Juliet is a very stubborn Princess, that is what most people didn't like about her so she decided to disobey her parents and go to a party she heard about from some servants in the palace.

 She decided that she would go in a disguise because she didn't want to get caught, and so she snuck into the servants washing room where the servants washed their clothes, she took the cleanest and nicest clothes and threw them, now she was ready for the party. 

It wasn't very hard to sneak out of the Castle as today was her cousin Tybalt's birthday and the King and Queen wanted everyone to attend his party. Juliet didn't really like her cousin as he was very spoiled and her parents treated him much more nicer than she was treated. Juliet was happy that she didn't have to go to his birthday party.

 Juliet quickly rushed out of the Castle,past the gates and into the village where she could attend the party, the only thing Juliet wished for as she made her way to the party, was that no one would notice that she was the Princess of their Kingdom. As time went on Juliet started to worry that she would never find her way to the party as she didn't know where the party was taking place but also because she grew up in the castle and didn't know many places in the village. 

Soon her worries faded as she saw a small group of young boys who were dressed in their nicest clothes heading towards the town square (this she knew because she would always tag along with her nurse to the town square to get some treats) she decided that she would follow them to the party. After a couple of minutes she arrived at the Commoners party. 

Juliet found the party absolutely amazing. She was astonished that a place like the town square could hold such a wonderful party. Juliet was just drifting off into her wonderland when suddenly a boy snapped her back to the real world. He was tall, muscular and very handsome. He had dark silky brown hair and his eyes were the most perfect shade of brown, his eyes just melted her heart in an instant. Juliet has never found herself drooling over a boy and much less a commoner boy. 

She thought that she was going crazy. She thought to herself "What would Mother say to me about falling in love with a commoner, she would have thought I have gone insane!" Juliet flinched at the thought of her Mother knowing where she was. After Juliet had finally calmed down she noticed that she was still staring at this handsome boy and then blushed. She didn't blush just because she was looking at him but because he was looking at her! Juliet and this mysterious boy stared at each other, mouths wide open in complete shock and awe.

Juliet was frozen. She didn't know what to do. She has never fallen in love before. Her mind was a complete blank. Luckily the mysterious boy knew what to do. The boy slowly stepped closer to the frozen Juliet not taking his eyes off of her. Closer he came and with every step he made, made Juliet's heart pound. Finally the mysterious boy was standing one foot away from Juliet. Her face red and hot she managed to spit out a shaky "Hi" to the mysterious boy standing infront of her, the boy looked at her in surprise and then introduced himself. "Hi, my name is Romeo, and who might you be?" Said Romeo bravely. Juliet looked up at him smiling at his handsome face and said "My name is Juliet, it is a pleasure to meet you." Romeo looked down at Juliet's shy face and smiled "Do you want to go somewhere a little less noisy?" Juliet looked at the packed party, smiled and then nodded.
