Chapter 9: You Had Me At Hello

~Julia's P.O.V~

After Jesse left my room i entered my bathroom and jumped in the shower, several minutes later i exited and got dressed in a red and black Pierce The Veil shirt, white skinnys and my red vans. I quickly applied eyeliner, mascara and brushed my hair and teeth. after throwing on multiple braclets, I decided to let my hair dry in natral waves, with that i grabbed my guitar, purse, keys and phone.

"Jesseeee lets goooooo!" I called as i shut my bed room door and headed downstairs. I peared into the kitchen to see Jesse stuffing his face. He put his dishes in the sink and we headed out the door. I threw my guitar in the back and he hopped in with his drumsticks in hand.

"Okay so heres the plan." I began as i started the truck and backed out of the driveways."Im gonna drive to Josh's and youre gonna go pick Dakota up." I looked at him quickly before returning my eyes to the road.

"What? No." He protested. "You know why i cant do that." He shook his head back and forth.

"Sorry sis." I sighed.

"Its fine, we'll just do it now i suppose." We passed Josh's house and sped to Dakotas, i turned up the music. When we got there she was standing on the porch with her bass in one hand, a laptop bag slung across her shoulders and the other holding her phone to her ear. She had a shit-eatting grin on her face.

"Oh no." i groaned and slamed my head on to the stearing wheel, when the horn honked i jumped. I looked at Jesse who was holding his stomach laughing so hard, then he turned the music down.

"Oh shut the fuck up," i growled at him as he opened the door and got out  so Dakota could get in.

"Hahahaha yes Hime," She climbed in, continuing her phone call. "Okay fine, JAIME ALBERTO PRECIADO IS THE SEXIST MAN ALIVE. Happy?" She screamed.

"Holy jesus," I muttered as i pulled out of her driveway.

"No HI JULIA HOWS IT GOING I LOVE YOU BEST FRIEND, THANKS FOR PICKING ME UP?" Jesse slightly turned so he was facing her and her raised an eyebrow.

"Yea yea, whatever." She grumbled and continued talking to Jaime.

Jesse gave me an aplogetic look as he reajusted in his seat.

She was so right, Dakota didnt care anymore. Tears stung my eyes as Jesse grabbed my free hand and squeesed it tightly. Soon enough we arrived at Josh's house. I killed the engine, grabbed my guitar and phone and knocked on the garage door, like usual, except this time it was with pure anger.

"Woah, ho ho. Someones pissed." Josh greeted me as i stormed in.

"Yeah, drama and shit with a specific someone." Jesse took his place behind the drums and we waited for Dakota who was slowly making her way inside, still on the phone. I started getting my guitar out and setting it up when Dakota was getting her laptop out.

"Uh what the hell are you doing, this is band practice not surf the internet time." I glared at her and she shrugged.

"You'll see."

5 minutes later she squealed and jumped around with excitement. She grabbed her laptop and ran over to a shelf that was just below eye level, when she stepped back you seen the face's of four mexicans that looked familure.

"So guys..." Dakota started and walked over to me. "This is Julia aka Jewels and shes like our Vic, with lead vocals and guitar." I blushed and waved as they said theyre hellos and holas, but Tony and Vic both stared at me. I blushed and looked back and forth between the two. I just so happened to be wearing a Pierce The Veil shirt. If this was a normal occasion, and i wasnt pissed at Dakota id totally be fangirling. Next she walked over to Jesse.

"So this is Jesse, our Mike and its kinda funny that Jewels and Jesse are half brother and sister." Everyone said hi and laughed.

"Annddddd, last but not least, this is Josh. Our Tony." She walked over to Josh.

"Now you know the whole band!! Oh and im the bassist." She got her bass out and began assmbling it.

"Oh yeah guys," she looked at us, "Um they wanted to watch us practice." She smilled.

I was no longer pissed. A giant smile crept on my face and i looked at the screen of her laptop to see them smiling as well.

"Really?" i asked.

"Hell yeas!!" Tony said in a weird voice.

"YASSSSS." Came from Jaime

"Duhh, why do you think were Skyping?" Vic giggled

Mike screamed, "PANTERA." and smacked Jaime.

We all laughed.

"Oww," Jaime whinned and rubbed his arm where Mike hit him.

"Aweh, you'll be okay Hime-Time." Dakota reassured him.

"Okay so lets get this show on the road!" Tony yelled excitedly

"Fine Turtle, Jesus! Impatent much?!" I said into the microphone.

1-2-1-2-3-4! Jesse counted down and we began our first song.

"Yassss! That was amazing guys, like omg. Ima become yalls fangirl." Vic gushed as we finished our last song.

"Id piss myself if that happened, Vic." Josh laughed.

"WELL YA BETTER HAVE AN EXTRA PAIR OF UNDIES!" Jaime screamed and gave Vic a high-five.

"Fuenciado for life, bitchhhhesss." Jaime exclaimed.

Dakota sniffled, "Whadda bout me??" She crossed her arms and began to fake cry.

"Baby aint no one said nothin bout us!" Jaime winked and did a weird shoulder shimmy thing.

I face palmed, Josh rolled his eyes and Jesse laughed.

"Oh yeah! Happy new years eve guys!!" I said as i put my guitar back in its case.

"Happy new years eveeeee." They all returned. "What are you guys doing tonight?" Tony chimed.

"Josh always throws legendary partys, and of course, we always attend." Jesse explained and Josh grinned like a dweeb.

"Only if you noobs could come." Dakota and i sighed.

Jaime got an evil grin spread on his face, everyone stared at him.

"Whatttt? Do yall like somethin yuh see?" He said in a gay voice causing us to laugh.

"I like yo jacket." Me and Dakota said at the same time, then laughed about it. That earned us confused looks from the other 5 people.

"Dont ask," I said and waved their looks away. Tony and Jaime looked at eachother and shrugged.

"Well its was a pleasure finally meeting you guys, but ive got to go help Josh set up for la fiesta!" I exclaimed, noticing that Josh went inside like 5 minutes ago. Tony and Vic looked sad but i brushed it off and stood up from off the couch.

"Adios, amigos!" I waved and headed inside.
