I wish
A simple concept
Meaning you hope for something
But do you know what I wish?

I wish it was safe for girls to walk outside at night without being kidnapped

I wish we lived in a world where people respected each other simply for existing

I wish that young girls when they talk about serious topics they were'nt written off as naive or misguided

I wish We lived in a world where we could all be valid

I wish I could speak out about wrong doings without being told I don't know what I'm talking about

I wish I lived in a world where men didn't have to be strong and thin just to not be ridiculed for being them

I wish that people didn't have to suffer in silence with their mental illnesses with the fear of, if they speak out they will be told they are insane and get sent off to an asylum

I wish all people were valid I wish that when I heard girls talking with their friends I didn't hear them talking about their weight

I wish that people with diagnosed mental illnesses when talking about the actions of others it wasn't written off as a 'misunderstanding' or a 'conditional problem'

I wish everyone truly had the freedom to speak

I wish everyone truly could speak...
