Chapter 4

Phil's P.O.V

After Dan and I walked out of the pet shop, we were going to take the subway but we forgot our Oyster cards, so we had no other choice than to just walk to an ice cream parlor. We didn't have a specific one in mind, so we were just looking for an ice cream parlor. It was really nice day today, but it was hot out. I enjoyed walking with Dan, I felt safe and happy around him. Even though he said he saw a funny looking little girl. Oh Dan. I looked up at the clouds. Hey, that cloud kinda looked lik- *bam* Dan had pushed me against the wall, our hearts pounding loud and fast. And I see a crazy man pushing a shopping cart and running with it down the street, hurting people along the way. Dan had pushed me out of the way. He had his arms on the wall, and I against the wall, and we barely had space between us. "Dan?" I asked nervously. He looked at me in the eyes, and I looked into his eyes too. Those eyes... I just wanted to stare at those eyes forever... We stared into each other until someone yelled "HA GAYYYYYY." Dan and I looked to where that came from, and turned out the guy was yelling at someone else. How awkward and embarrassing that was... We both blushed a lot. "So.. Uh..." Dan mumbled. "Hmm?" "Nothing..." We began to walk slowly... Then... "GODDAMMIT PHIL WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING NEXT TIME YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN HURT!!!" "Sorry! I saw a cloud and got distracted..." I looked down. Dan facepalmed. "Be careful next time! It almost gave me a heart-attack!" I smiled a little. He really does care for me, now does he? "You're right... I'm sorry." I say, ever so innocently. Dan just looked at me. "Twat." I laughed. "Oh no, that ice cream is full with loads of people!" I say. "Well, let's find another one then!" Dan responds. Good day so far.
