Go ahead and read this in my wonky British accent. I recommend listening to some sort of sad playlist or Fine Line or whatever while you read this. I don't know, people have just told me that this is a really sad story. I agree. Imagine actually living it. Did you turn it on? Ok, let's get as close as we possibly can to the truth. Nothing but the truth. No more lies. Because to be honest, it all started a long time ago. We would have to go back years for that though...

What happens when you become famous? You get all of the girls, you tour the world, you get a bucket load of cash. But they don't ever tell you about the part where you lose your lover, your best friends, your privacy. Maybe they did and I just refused to listen. The best way to compare it is to say that you're being told you're allowed to sit at the popular table, but then it was all a setup and next thing you know, you're on the cafeteria floor covered in ketchup with hundreds of kids laughing at you. Well actually, I never finished high school so I don't know how accurate that description was. My mom signed me up for that X factor audition back in 2010. One day off from the deadline. How fortunate am I, right? Went in as a solo artist, came out as part of what would soon be the biggest boyband in the world. The kids who lost the x-factor, but won the world...don't you just love labels?

Simon Cowell...He seems like a genuine guy. Needless to say, I'm grateful for him because he gave me a job. But I would have rather chosen love over a job. He signed us. We made it. We were THE new and upcoming "pop stars". I loved these boys with my whole heart. They were my brothers. Well, maybe sweet home Alabama then. I grew up with the 4 of them. They made the puzzle pieces fit.

Nialler. My baby brother. He may have been older than me, but he was mine. I miss our Narry friendship. He was such a genuine guy. Loved food of course. Happy go lucky is what we would call him. He was truly our Irish Princess.

Payno. He was such an incredible leader. He got the name Daddy Directioner for a reason. He knew what he wanted, and he got it. Such a fun dude. I miss him.

DJ Malik. He wore his heart out on his sleeve. Always so nice to everyone. He may not have always been comfortable, but he did what he had to do for others. It hurts how things ended.

Tommo...Where do I start? We'll come back to him actually...

The video diaries. A lot of secrets were accidentally spilled during those. "And I'd marry you Harry...because it rhymes." All fun and games though. The stairway to heaven some would call it. We had some good times, didn't we?

There was more than just the video diaries though. We shot another video too. And by we, I mean me and him. They wouldn't let us release it though. I should have taken that as a warning sign before things got even worse.

Before we can move forward with the success story of the decade though, we must go back in time. Normal life is what they would call it. I was a teenage boy who was hurting. If you saw the bracelets around my wrists and thought "Oh that's an interesting fashion choice", then I hope nothing ever changes for you. Perhaps that was part of my inspiration for Diana. Perhaps that was my inspiration for a lot of things.

"Oops"... "Hi"

What Makes You Beautiful! That was a great music video and song. Hard to believe that was 10 years ago. I still remember the horrible fashion choices. Not really sure why we were running in the ocean with our clothes on, but I guess it was 2010 though. I remember things just taking off after Up All Night. It was such an experience. The girls were fantastic. They were incredible fans. We slowly started to gain fame. Number one in the U.S. American girls are quite pretty. Now necessarily my type, but you know. The album started to grow more and more. That was only the start. But what became the start of one thing, soon became the end of another. Roses lose their petals and daggers stab you until there's no feeling left. How unfortunate, is it?
