The truth is finally breaking through

Chapter 3

LUKE'S POV:

It's been 10 minutes and she hasn't come out of her garage. But why would I know that? it's not like I'm spying on her anything... right spying if you are friends of four nevermind we should focus on the task at hand helping Julie

"Are you guys hearing what I'm hearing?" Alex asked

"No what are you...Julie is singing!" I exclaimed

"This is amazing" Reggie said excitedly

We listened to her singing for what felt like forever. Her voice was spectacular until Reggie fell into the bushes and it's possibly the loudest noise I've ever heard in my life.

"REGGIE!!!" I yelled

"I think she heard us let's go before she catches us" Alex whispered

"No wait maybe we should and you left." I wish I could say that they wouldn't leave and I'll be lying.

"Hey who's out there I've got a bat and I took a Kung Fu class once and I am not afraid to swing." Julie said "Oh come on I'm not crazy"

I decided maybe we can be friends again on that very slim chance but it's now or never I guess "We're all a little crazy" Why did I say that now implying that she's crazy what's wrong with me.

JULIE'S POV:

What the heck was that if it's an intruder I'm ready to fight anybody right? Where is my bat. Finally I found my bat, I knew that one class of Kung fu would pay off one day. Hey who's out there I've got a bat and I took Kung Fu classes once I'm not afraid to swing." I know I heard something out here "Oh come on I'm not crazy"

"We're all a little crazy."Luke said as he jumped up and scared me.

"Ah. Luke"

Luke walks up to me and says "Hey Julie long time no see."

"Luke what are you doing if you're just going to bully me then I have no time for this you can do it at school"

"Actually I didn't come to bully you I came to drop off some flowers well me Alex and Reggie but they ran when you came out."He huckles nervously

"Well why did you come to drop off flowers" I said while crossing my arms

"It's your mother's death anniversary me and the boys wanted to say sorry"

"You actually remembered and tell the guys that I said thank you"

"You're welcome Jules."

"It's Julie." I say and storm off

I storm out and run into my room 'I mean who does he think he is he think that he can just walk back into my life at with his dreamy eyes hundred watt smile shaggy hair...stay focused Julie'I tell myself in my mind. On one hand what if him and the boys are nice again on the other hand they think they can just come back into my life after leaving me. Ridiculous. Let's see what tomorrow brings. And then I drift off to sleep

LUKE'S POV:

"Julie, wait." I can't believe I screwed up again this time.I walk home and go to sleep.
