Lucas and broken nose began circling each other in the ring, waiting for the other to make a move.

"Come on Adam!" Jackson called out, finally giving me a name to use instead of just 'broken nose'.

I stayed quiet and kept my face even as I watched. Lucas stuck his ground; waiting, anticipating. They circled each other for a minute. Finally, Adam got fed up with waiting and lunged.

Lucas sidestepped quickly and spun to look at Adam, who was regaining his balance. I smiled to myself. He was doing exactly what I'd taught him.

Once Adam regained his balance he turned back to Lucas and advanced again. He threw a punch and Lucas ducked, blocking it with one hand and countering with a punch to the ribs.

The crowd cheered louder and Lucas got back into a defensive stance as Adam doubled over, catching his breath.

They went back and forth for the rest of the round. Lucas' stance was solid, and he definitely got more hits than Adam, but he did take a few. A couple to the ribs and one to the face.

Caleb rang the bell to stop the round, "Good fighting, this round goes to Hunter. You have one minute starting now. Go to your corners." he said into the mic before stepping away.

Lucas walked over to me and I handed him a water bottle. He took a few sips before looking at me, "Well, any tips?" he asked.

"You're doing great. You're actually listening to what I've said. Keep doing that." I answered.

He nodded and took another sip of water. "How are the ribs?" I asked, glancing down to his abdomen.

I didn't see any bruising yet, "Fine. Mostly just knocked the wind out of me I was able to step far enough away before he got a straightforward hit." he said.

I nodded once, "Good. Now do the same thing next round." I said before he handed me the bottle and Caleb rang the bell, signaling the end of the break.

Three rounds later and both Lucas and Adam were exhausted. Both of them had taken several hits, and both of them had won two rounds each. Lucas had just won the fourth round.

"Alright. You get two minutes before the final round. Go to your corners." Caleb said into the mic at the end of the fourth round.

Lucas walked over and sat at the stool. He grabbed the water and took a few sips. He took another and swirled it in his mouth before spitting it out off to the side.

I stepped up in front of him and checked out his left eye. I could see it was starting to bruise around it, but the eye didn't look like it was swelling shut.

"Well princess, what do you think?" he asked. He was out of breath.

"You're doing great. You've got him where you want him." I said.

"Really?" he asked.

"You haven't taken the offense once. All of your hits were counters. He's pissed off because he can't get a read on you, and he's getting sloppy. That's how you won this last round. Do not change your game. Keep the counter. Don't go in on the attack unless you know you can connect." I said.

He nodded. He smirked up at me, "So, do I get that good luck kiss?" he asked.

I rolled my eyes, "I told you we'd talk if you get a knockout. Don't get too cocky now Hunter." I said.

He just kept the smirk on his face, "Come on Princess. It's for good luck. If the fight's already over I won't need any luck anymore." he said.

I rolled my eyes and sighed, knowing how much shit I would get for what I was about to do. I leaned down and kissed his cheek lightly.
