Yeah! New year, new teachers, new students and always with my childhood friend. Lucky me. No one will make this year suck.

That was my spirit two weeks ago. Now I just want to go back to last year.

I don't know why she is here but I don't want her here.

This year, there is new students and there're all high nobles. One of them is the daughter of the only duke family, Lucia Storm, the Mad Dog.

So far so good, I haven't encounter her. But other haven't got that luck. She terrorizes everyone below her.

I prefer be with Emi, Emilia Jonks, my childhood friend. She is one of the two earl family which are equal to the duke.

"Alex, stop daydreaming and come. We have swordsmanship's lesson."

"Yeah, yeah, I know Emi but I don't want to be with The Mad Dog. They're all terrified of her in just two weeks. Even my littles spies can't find her weakness. I tell you she will establish a dictatorship before the end of the semester." I complained and followed her.

"Don't talk about her like that. Nothing rests hidden long in this academy. I won't be able to protect you and your big mouth forever." exasperated by my rambling in the morning.

"I'm saying the truth, what wrong with that? It's not like I'm spreading rumours. I'm an honest person after all." posing my hand on my chest smirking at her.

"And how many times your honesty did get us in trouble?" she said. "Please Alexia, be careful around her. I don't want something to happen to you." pleading me.

Defeated by her sincere demand. I oblige, and not with enthusiasm

"Okay" I said flatly "I'll try." Appeasing my worried friend.

After changing into more adapted cloths, we go to the training field.

'Huh?'

Why is she here! Why the Mad Dog and her lackeys are here? I should have made an excuse to skip class. Hugh...

"Student, we will do duel today. Take a partner and spare together." yelled the teacher.

I was going to walk away with Emi as my partner but the Mad Dog was not okay with it.

"You're the Earl daughter, right? Fight with me." she ordered with a haughty ton.

"I'll have to decline your demand. I already have someone, another time maybe." responded politely my friend.

"It wasn't an offer." charging toward us.

Crazy bitch, truly a mad dog. I block her sword with mine. She is a little shocked that I can see her actions and counter her. But in my opinion, it was a very obvious attack. Too bad she come back fast.

"Get out of my way." she growled.

"With pleasure." I step back to Emi's level. "I don't want to make my partner wait." placing my hand on Emi's shoulder with a bright smile.

Ah! It seems like I made her angry, her face is so funny!

"Who are you to oppose my master, vermin." the lackey asked.

"Emi, I'm hearing voices! There's a spectral presence here." I exclaimed "We should leave before it starts haunting us, right?" trying not to laugh.

"You have guts to insult a knight of the Storm family. Apologize." Lucia point her sword in my direction "I might be merciful... If you beg." attracting the crowd.
