Dear diary
Today I can't contain my excitement! Finally, Mr. Mcollins has decided to start a football team! I am so happy about this. He did do a junior basket ball club when I was a sevie, but I am not very good at it and he found himself screaming at me "Tara-May, will you please keep up with the rest of us or just pick up your P.E kit and leave! 99.9 % of your mind has been accidentally been left in bed this morning!!!"
Some people say that football is a boys sport, but I want to prove those some people wrong. I have liked it ever since I was in year 1. My dream is to one day play for Aresnal. But what chances do I have of being a pro if I can't even make the school football team. The try outs are on Friday the 13th of March, even though many people believe that Friday 13th is unlucky.
I don't believe in luck. I believe that everything happens for a reason. If I was the queen I would put people in prison for calling Friday the 13th unlucky. Aren't Fridays good because it is the day before the weekend? It beats me.
Nevertheless, I am going to do the best that I can no matter what the date is. And I am NOT going to let anything stop me.
Yours sincerely Tara xxx
P.S
I hope I get in!
Dear Diary
Today I found out that James Smith is the captain of the team. The P.E teachers get to choose the captians for any team that they start. James Smith is the most popular boy in school. He is also really sporty and all of the girls love him to bits (thats all of the girls apart from me). I didn't think anybody else would really get a chance to be the captain. The one thing I am a little worried about is the captain chooses the team and he doesn't really know me very well. Being a boy he will probably just pick his friends. But I am not going to give up hope and say no just like that.
Mr Mcollins is from Scotland. He is a very muscular build, and has a loud voice. He is probably the scariest of all of the P.E teachers. And really I am not surprised that he picked James because he is such a "P.E teachers pet" due to his sporty lifestyle.
There are a lot of girls at my school in Brighton. They seem to rule over everyone who has ever lived. I am not very popular at my school, and the girls try to rub that in my face. I don't really care though. I wont let that get to me. I am far too football oriented to bother with some silly girl's opinion. I am just very different to them I think. They just don't get where I am coming from at all. They are so interested in makeup, that they have forgotten how to have fun. I think forgotten is the only word to describe it really. There are not enough girls who want to be unique. They just go with the flow and that's that. I think they need to be more independent in future. I like to stand out from the croud. I like to be the odd one out. But I think that it is OK to be me.
