It's been almost two months since Dei'ani and Laurent have been seeing each other and it's getting harder to separate the work persona from the private one. There are times when she wants to tell him everything and then there are times when she thinks it's best to keep quiet. A couple of times she almost slipped up and she had to do a bit of backtracking. In those times, Laurent would look at her oddly but not say anything. She loved being with him, but she didn't know how much longer she could keep this up. It was Friday afternoon and they had a date later tonight. There have been many times throughout their time together that sex has come up. Laurent is still being patient with her and Dei'ani is finally ready to take that step with him. She would be the first one to admit that she's nervous, but she trusts Laurent and she feels that both of them have suffered enough.
They made plans to meet and have dinner at one of his favorite restaurants before heading to a jazz club to listen to some music. Dei'ani glanced at the clock on her computer and saw that it was the 4'o clock. She hastily packed her things and shut down her computer before heading out. She made it to the lobby and said goodbye to Leon, the doorman, before heading to the parking garage. She unlocked the door of her black Mercedes, tossed her bag on the passenger seat, and left the garage heading straight home. Once inside, she raced upstairs to her bedroom. She quickly jumped in the shower and got cleaned up. Once she was done, she came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. She quickly applied a little makeup and slipped into a white floral print teddy.
