"What are you doing out here in the garden, brother?"
I turned to see Grace coming towards me, I offer her a welcoming smile as she comes to stand besides me,
"What do you think I am doing out here, little sister?" I say,both our eyes squinting due to the early mornings sun that was keeping us warm from the cold breeze of the mountains,
" I don't know, stressing" she expressed and I chuckled,
"Your the one who trains and handles dragons, and I am the one stressing", I say sarcastically acting in disbelief, and she elbow me in the chest,
We both started laughing, and she starts to shakes her head, and turns around to walk back to the castle, her long, black velvet dress dragged behind her; she made it half way to the castle before turning back and says,
"By the way, mom and dad were calling you in the library!" She shouts out to me from behind,
"Okey!" I shout back to her in response, after taking a few deep breaths of the fresh air around me, I turn and make my way to the library,
On my way I passed many maids, guards and some other people that lived and worked in the castle, all of which greeted me with kind smile, and I greeted them back,
Finally when I reached the library, I see my mom and my dad, both looking down at a piece of paper, spread across a wooden table, My mother noticed my presence,
"Alex, son, we were waiting for you" my mother said, and pointed to the guards to leave us alone,
I go closer to the table, and noticed that the piece of paper on the table was a map,
"What is this all about" I ask, pointing at the map,
"Son," my father said catching my attention, " The king of Avaland, unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago" my father explains, with devastation, and continues, " and his queen is very sick, she's not in a position to take care of her people, and so, being in alliance with them, she asked us to take her people and bring them over here and take care of them, under our rule"
"But why do you guys have a map?"I ask,
"The path we previously used to use to go to Avaland has been blocked due to fallen trees and rocks, so we are trying to find a new path, and it looks like we found one" mother says, and pointed her finger and traced the path that they had decided to take;
"You have to get down the mountain, pass through the forest behind the castle of Ederdale and then you'll reach your destination" mother explains, while tracing her finger on the map,
