As I ran through the almost empty hallways of Hogwarts in my jeans and oversized hoodie, I could only think of the crystal snow that was falling outside. Today so happened to be the first day of snow in late November. It also happened to be our first Hogsmeade trip. It was apparently something that all the older students looked forward to.
I was still getting lost, even though I had been here for almost three months now. So you know, I could really use a map right about now.
Luckily, as I was finding my way to the entrance of the school where I was going to be meeting up with Lanti and Pen, I ran into the Gryffindor Quidditch captain.
"Oh, Poppy! Here you are!"
I raised my eyebrow at him, "where you looking for me?"
Oliver nodded and immediately went silent. I waited for a couple of seconds before saying, "Well, here I am. Can I help you?"
He looked down and started shuffling his feet awkwardly before muttering something barely audible.
"Excuse me?" I snapped, getting annoyed at the boy.
Oliver took a deep breath before starting to say "Poppy, do you want, to maybe go ou-"
But he didn't get far. The next second, my two friends had turned the corner and upon spotting me, Lanti had given out a delightful squeal.
"Look there she is Pen!"
I waved at them and Oliver turned around, seeming oddly frustruated at the two girls.
"Umm, I was actually trying to talk to Poppy, before you guys interrupte-"
But he was, funnily, interrupted as Lanti placed a finger on his lips. "Let me stop you right there Mister. Our little girl here" she said signalling to me as I leant back and watched the scene amused. "Has been training non stop for your Quidditch team. So whatever it is you need to update her on or something, I'm sure it can wait till tomorrow."
"But-"
"No buts, no cuts, no coconuts!" Exclaimed Lanti, making us all roar with laugher. Well, all of us but Oliver. "Today is a girls day out, to drink butterbeer and eat junk food. Not to stress about some silly sport on a broom. Goodbye now"
And with one final glance my way Oliver admitted defeat and walked away.
"Wow Lanti, that just made my whole day." I said with a grin.
"Well, buckle up cause the day is just beginning and my lovely girlfriend Pen here has planned a bunch of fun activites for us." She then leaned in to whisper into the Ravenclaws ear "One of them better be visiting Zonko's joke shop"
The blonde just let out a laugh and nodded, "Don't worry, we'll go to your precious joke shop"
"You know," I said suddenly, turning their attention on me "I wonder what Oliver wanted to say to me"
Lanti simply shrugged and said "Probably something about Quiddtich like I said before"
But we were both caught off guard when Pen looked at us like we were the dumbest people in the world. "You mean you guys didn't get it?"
"Get what?" I questioned.
"He wanted to-" But before she went any further she stopped herself. "You know what, I'll just let things sort themselves out."
And without a final word, we all left the castle, ready for a day of fun and relaxation.

A/N: hey guys! sorry for updating so irregularly, but I have noticed that some of you have been leaving comments on my writing and I just wanted to thank you guys so so much. I know you can't like comments on Wattpad (which is annoying), but please know that I read every single one of them and I find them hilarious. I hope you're enjoying this story!
