Sleepy Tears

Emiko stared blankly at the chalk board ahead, alone. It was extremely early in the morning and boy was she tired. She thought that if she beat everyone to the classroom then she would avoid the embarrassment of walking into class and having everyone stare at her and make snarky comments about yesterday's incident. Luckily for her she had no trouble getting up early because she stayed up all night sobbing from being wounded with a 'broken heart'.

"You know maybe I should take a tiny nap before class begins, seeing as I got..." she checked her watch, "A whole hour before living people arrive." She said to herself. As she slowly started resting her head on her desk. It didn't take long before she drifted of to a heavy sleep.

"Thank you for agreeing on helping me with the assignment so early in the morning, Tsukki!" Yamaguchi said with full gratitude. Tsukishima nodded as they finally reached Homeroom.

It took them a bit of time to reach their homes last night so neither had any time to work on their class work. Practice has been wearing them out so they needed as much sleep as they could get, that's why Yamaguchi and Tsukishima decided on heading to class early to work on the assignment before the teacher arrived.

What they didn't expect was to walk in on a classmate passed out in their dark and empty Homeroom. Upon further inspection they realized that the girl who was softly snoring and slightly drooling was... Emiko.

Yamaguchi smiled at the girls cuteness while Tsukishima chuckled at how dumb she looked.

He was tempted to pull out his phone a take a quick picture but quickly pushed the idiotic thought out of his mind.

"Should we wake her up?" Yamaguchi asked Tsukishima.

Tsukishima thought about it and decided not to disrupt her 'peaceful' sleeping, "I don't see a reason too. She's more bearable when she's not talking." He said while taking his books out of his bag and placing them neatly on his desk. Yamaguchi took the seat beside him which put the three in a triangle. That's when he realized that Emiko sat one seat behind him diagonally.

"She's sat there this whole time?" He said wondering how he didn't know about the annoying girl's existence.

"Alright so I wanted to ask you about this third part on the second sheet..."

The two boys continued on like this for another half hour. Every now and then one would peek back at Emiko to ensure that they didn't disrupt her. Well Yamaguchi checked so that he wouldn't disturb her, Tsukki checked because he wanted to avoid the girls glaring eyes and annoying comments for as long as possible.

Yamaguchi soon excused himself so he could use the restroom leaving Tsukishima alone with a sleeping Emiko. Out of curiosity, Tsukishima turned back look at Emiko. He noticed some strange glistening on the girls cheeks.

"Hm?" He walked over to her and bent down to get a closer look.

"Uhh.." Tsukishima soon realized the glistening on the girls cheeks were... tears.

Why are you crying?

Before he processed his movements Tsukishima found his hand wiping away the girls tears. Which unfortunately (fortunately) cause Emiko to begin stirring.
