Day 1
I started my new Hardcore world thrilled for what I want to build, find, and create. I spawned in a jungle biome and already got my home in mind. With a plains biome close to where I spawned I could look for sheep for a bed and a village to trade with the villagers.
A punched logs with all of my might and collected wood for a wood pickaxe to continue on my way. I dig down in a staircase so just in case there is an underground ravine then that will end my life that quick, it would hurt too. I gathered enough cobblestone to make a full set of tools including a hoe just because you never know when you will need a hoe like if I find a village and need to take all the hay bales, I would need a hoe to mine them faster.
I also got two furnaces and 10 extra cobblestones just in case. I start walking through the jungle edges to look for a perfect tree to call home. I walked and walked for about half a day when then I found it, The perfect tree. Lots of leaves, tall and it just looks cool. But in my way was a rare jungle temple. I took a big risk and I still don't know why I did that.
I thought the loot would help me and it did in the long run. I entered knowing what is inside since I am experienced, I get through all the traps and reach the first chest, bones, emeralds, saddle! good score, and a few strings. Ok decent chest, but the second chest was better than great. It had two diamonds, an iron horse armor, and five more emeralds.
All of a sudden, I hear a hiss ''uh oh!' i turn around and BOOOOOOM! a creeper blew up and got me down to 1 heart. Scared AF, I get up and run into the plains biome, quickly craft a bed, eat raw beef even if it didn't taste good, I did everything to regenerate and jump in my bed.
Day 2
I wake up early since the nightmare of the creeper explosion was fresh in my mind but the moment was quickly forgotten when I was awakened by the beautiful sunrise. I have finally realized that living in the jungle will come with a lot of trouble. Mobs constantly spawning and the terrain is hard to navigate.
Not the best place to live, right? Well, I think I will be living in the plains close to the jungle so I can get access to things like cocoa beans for delicious cookies. I get my wood out of my inventory and make a simple 7x7 house that's 1 floor but later it will become bigger. I make my floor carpet for style and put two double chests against my south wall.
I wanted to make a basement for extra storage and start a mineshaft for mining precious materials such as Iron and Diamonds. The basement won't be bigger than the diameter of the house so 7x7 blocks. I started to dig down in a staircase into the ground full of hope of finding the essentials to survive.
Iron armor is the bare minimum to survive normal mobs which exclude the creeper since diamond protection four is enough to survive a blast, and I just can't imagine the nether trying to get netherite is way out of the question.
Day 3
I didn't know that day 2 ended until checked when I was checking my Y level to see an oak plank when I was digging down to Y level 12 and I knew it was only one thing, a mineshaft. I have heard about other playthrus that you can get good luck in mineshafts with diamonds or bad luck with death and cave spiders which give you poison BTW! So I tested my luck by entering the mineshaft and hoping for good luck.
I entered with caution realizing that anything at any moment can kill me. I walked through the cobwebs cautiously so I don't die in under 3 days, I haven't finished day 3 yet and I am risking my life but I don't want to die again, I can be dumb.
But when all hope was lost, I found them. I am screaming in my head so the mobs cant hear me since I found them, Diamonds!!. I rush to them as fast as I can almost tripping in the lava but I didn't care. '' A 8 vein Yesss'' An 8 vein of Diamonds was rare but not really because I have found two 8 veins of diamonds side by side rare huh? Fun fact, this is not my first playthrough but it is a story in its self for another day. The first thing I made was a diamond pickaxe to collect uncollectable materials before like obsidian for an enchantment table and a nether portal.
I wanted to come down for obsidian once so I got 32 obsidian for safety purposes. Nether portal and enchantment table needs 14 obsidian in total so I got 18 extra obsidian. I walk out of the mine untouched somehow and came home with all the obsidian and happy as ever.
Day 4
''Ahhhh'' I wake up from the great comfort of my bed to look out of my glass window watching the beautiful sunrise to calm my mind in the morning getting ready to go to the nether but I need some preparations.
Like enchanting my new diamond sword with sharpness, Pickaxe with efficiency, and my Iron armor plus my new diamond boots that I made I got protection II witch is really good. I even got Thors II on my chest plate. I nervously made the nether portal and realized that I didn't grab flint so I headed out on an adventure to get flint but I didn't need to go that far.
There was a small water pond near had gravel but this is when my luck came in when I got flint on my first try so I rush back home grab an Iron ingot, make a flint and steel, and lit the portal. I enter and all I could think is ''I have really shitty luck''
Day 5
I was covered with basalt all around witch meant one thing, a basalt delta. ''Nope, Fuck the nether I am going back to the overworld'' so I entered and had a few ideas on my mind
1.Make a cow farm for a bookshelf for the enchantment table.
2. Get a sugar cane farm for the paper to make the books
Just baby steps here.
And probably get villagers for trading like emeralds for diamond armor. So I got to work planning out the map of the land and I think it is ready. Blue is where the high tech farms like automatic pumpkin, bamboo, and sugar cane for other uses but since the 1.16.4 update, there are Piglin bastions with Piglin brutes and I must stay clear of those beasts so I also made a list of things that I must steer clear of, like a creeper, Piglin brutes, and husks.
You might think that I am a wimp but those are mobs that I call temporary mobs like skeletons were on the list before getting removed about a day ago with my armor equipped.
Day 6 - 9
For the next three days, I gathered cobblestone for a cobblestone wall around my compound (That's my base new name) But I was lucky enough to find 17 diamonds which completed my set of full diamond armor. I started to enchant my armor and I also made a grindstone just incase my enchant is not the best. After I got what I wanted I continued my mine. I went in the opposite direction of the mineshaft for your information.
***
(Time skip to Day 8) I have mine for 2 days straight but for a good cause. To build a wall that wall could protect me from zombies and creepers that want to kill me! Ya for me it is important because I didn't want to die. I would talk about me not wanting to die but that would be boring so let's just not talk about it. So back to the wall of cobblestone. Ya um, took me a long time.

Day 10
Yaaaay, A decade in days have past and with full diamond armor, it is easy to feel reckless so I went out on a boat going to look for multiple things such as a village or even a desert temple with some good loot in it. I packed for the worst but hoped for the best and with all the confidence in the world, I went off looking for new land but my luck came to an end when I saw an ocean about a 1:30s boat ride in real-world time, so shocked at all this luck I adventured in the open world.
***
It is getting dark and I am at least a thousand blocks away with no land in sight and then I saw it, the magical guardian temple with a desert nearby so I rush to pass the temple without getting mining fatigue but to my luck, I got it. I yell shoot before hopping into bed in the desert hoping for better luck in the morning.
