"Regulus Arcturus Black!" Cassandra exclaimed, running down the stairs.
She was met with five confused people in the living room.
"Kreacher!" Cassandra exclaimed. "Have you ever seen this locket before?"
"Yes, it was Master Regulus' locket." Kreacher spat out.
"But there were two, weren't there?" Cassandra asked, raising a brow. "Where's the other one?"
"Kreacher doesn't know where the other locket is." Kreacher answered.
"Yes, but did you ever see it?" Hermione asked. "Was it ever in this house?"
Kreacher mumbled underneath his breath.
"Answer her." Cassandra demanded.
"It was here." Kreacher answered. "In this house. Most evil object."
"What do you mean?" Harry asked.
"Before Master Regulus died, he ordered Kreacher to destroy, but no matter how hard Kreacher tried, he could not do it."
"Well, where is it now?" Harry asked. "Did someone take it?"
"Came in the night." Kreacher replied. "Took many things, including the locket."
"Who did?" Cassandra asked.
"Mundungus." Kreacher said. "Mundungus Fletcher."
"Find him." Cassandra ordered.
Kreacher apparated away.
"What was all of that about?" Sirius asked.
"Voldemort split his soul into a certain amount of pieces – seven I think." Cassandra said. "He did it to gain immortality. This locket is a horcrux but it's not the real locket. A piece of paper was inside and written on that piece of paper was RAB. I figured it would be Regulus."
"I could never imagine my brother going against Voldemort." Sirius sighed. "Hell, I couldn't even imagine him ever caring."
"I could." Brooklyn said, appearing behind Sirius. "He was different with me and Jack."
"Yeah that's because he was in love with you." Sirius scoffed.
"No need to be jealous, Sirius." Cassandra teased. "You have got yourself a divine woman. It is natural for others to be attracted to her as well."
Brooklyn winked at Cassandra.
"I'm not jealous!" Sirius said, earning a look from Cassandra. "Okay, fine, I am jealous."
