there is a 3-5 year old little girl and her parents were killed by someone that was after the family. The little girl's name is Kylie and her twin Kaylee. they have an older sister named Ashley, but she has been gone since the girls were infants...
Kylie's POV It had been 3 years since we had seen Ashley. Our parents died about a week ago so our neighbors, kuza and his family were taking me and Kaylee in until someone could notify Ashley. I was in the hall listening to kuza's parents argue about what they would do with me and Kaylee. Kuza went to the store and wasn't there. I heard the front door open and close and new kuza was back. He went to the kitchen put the food away and then came up the stairs and found me with tears lightly running down my face and kaylee asleep beside me. He knew they were arguing about us and gently sat down by me and the sleeping kaylee. He lifted her into his lap and I climbed up into his lap after he had her settled. I buried my face into his shirt and he rocked lightly back and forth to calm me. I started to calm as he pulled out his phone and texted Chris. He finished the message and put his phone down. A few minutes later Chris started calling . (Their conversation)... Chris : hey kuza what's going on? i just saw ur text about the girls everything okay..?
Kuza : no man my parents are arguing about what we're gonna do with the girls and it's got Kylie upset and it put kaylee in a panic attack she fell asleep...? Are u home?
Chris : ya I'm home just putting food away and putting a pizza in the oven...? Want to come over and get the girls away from the arguments for the night...?
Kuza : ya if u okay with us coming over..? I got to get the girls out of here for awhile and get some stuff together for myself and them then I will be on my way...? You think you could talk to ky ky while I get everything together for me she is scared and really upset ...?
Chris : ya put her on the phone and I'll keep her focused on me for a few minutes while you get what you guys need..?
Kuza : okay here she is..?
Kuza handed me his phone and said Chris was on the phone if I was okay enough to talk to him..? I took his phone gently from him as kuza kissed the top of my head and I followed him in his room as he woke kaylee up and helped her get some warmer clothes on. I did the same. Chris : hey ky ky u okay sweet pea...?
Ky ky : no I scared and Chloë and Eric keep fightin ....?
Chris : I know ky ky kuza told me. That's why kuza is bringing u to my house okay baby u won't have to hear it anymore.
Ky ky : okay is kuza staying the night too.?
Chris : yes all three of u are spending the night with me okay ky ky...? Can I talk to kuza baby girl just for a minute...?
Ky ky : ya...? I went up to kuza as he finished packing 3 bags and handed him his phone. He looked at me a gave me a small but sad smile and gently took his phone back.
Kuza : hey man ... Thanks for talking to her she's really freaked out. Kaylee is too but I was worried she would pass out on me and not in the good way.
Chris : it's not a problem kuza are u heading out...?
Kuza : ya I'm picking up the sleepy kaylee. She is so stressed and scared that she is tired chris and Kylie is about to be at that limit I'm kind of worried about her.
Chris : I know man I know. Just get them out of there and text me when you are in my drive way. Alright...?
Kuza : alright man talk to u soon. Then the phone call ended.
Kuza's POV I took all 3 bags out to my car first. I walked back in side and grabbed the girls. Kaylee was sound asleep. I picked her up first and then Kylie was reaching out for me so I carried them out and we were gone. I walked to my car and opened the back door on the passenger side. I put Kylie down and put kaylee in her car seat, buckled her up safe and secure, put a blanket over her and closed her door gently. I picked Kylie back up walked around the other side of the car, opened the driver back door and placed Kylie in her car seat, buckled her up safe and secure, put her blanket over her and kissed her head. She looked up at me with her tear stained face and I closed her door gently. I opened the driver door got in closed my door gently and started the car. I turned the heater on low and drove away. ( btw it's winter were they are) . Chris lives an few hours from us so it was gonna be awhile but at least the girls didn't have to hear my parents argue anymore. Me, my band mates and chris's band mates have known the girls since they have been born so we have adopted them as our little sisters. Ashley is their oldest and only sibling and she has been moved out and away since they were born. Ash loves the girls but she couldn't handle their mother and father arguing all the time. She never meant to leave them to suffer. It's been an hour of driving and I need an energy buster. I decided to stop at the gas station and get gas and some snacks for me and the girls. I stopped parked and turned the car off looked in the review mirror and they were both sleeping. I took off my seatbelt turned, around and gently shook kylies foot. She awoke and i asked her if she was hungry. She nodded still tired. I then woke kaylee and i asked her if she was hungry. She too nodded and looked sleepy as well. I got out with my phone and car keys opened kylies door helped her unbuckle and got her out of the car. We walked around to kaylees door and I opened it and I helped her unbuckle and helped her out of the car. I closed her door and we walked into the gas station. I got me some coffees and the girls some bug juices , I also got some pizza , chips , cookies, slim jims , and jerkey. I added $25 in gas and total for all was $35. We walked out and I opened the passenger side door put all our stuff up there for the moment. Opened kaylees door and helped her buckle up and I put her blanket back on her . I asked her if she wanted her bug juice she nodded and I handed it to her. I asked what she wanted to snack on and she pointed at the lays sour cream and onion chips so I opened the bag and gave them to her.
