I fixed my hair in front of the mirror. And through the reflection, I could see that Taehyung was about to get inside the bathroom. I sighed before walking towards him; I held his arm while staring at his dark eyes. Taehyung smiled before kissing my lips gently; it made me smile immediately.
-Yoongi-hyung will suspect if you don't go now, Kook. I'll be okay if you go. – Taehyung assured while holding my arms.
I nodded before kissing Taehyung's lips again, and after that, I got towards the entrance, and Taehyung hid inside the bathroom. As I was walking to the entry, I heard Yoongi complaining, which made me scoff. I didn't hesitate to answer back before opening the door.
-Why are you whining, hyung? See? I'm here. – I spoke as I let Yoongi come inside the apartment.
-It took you a while. – Yoongi said before I closed the door behind him.
-It's early, and I was sleeping before you knocked. – I stated before walking towards Yoongi.
Abruptly, Yoongi stopped before reaching the living area. I stared at him, confused by his sudden expression; he's caressing the back of his head while looking upset about something.
-Are you okay, hyung? – I asked, confused.
-We have three weeks left before we return to the studio and our activities. So, most of the members are traveling again. Last time I went with J-hope because I wanted to get away from our problems. – Yoongi pointed out, sounding nervous. -Jungkook, I know it has been some time since we broke up, and I blamed everything on you. But I never apologized for talking behind your back, and for that, I'm sorry. – He said before meeting my eyes.
I didn't know what to say or how to react to Yoongi's sudden apology. However, I know that my hyung is honest, and during that time, both of us were healing our scars.
-You don't need to apologize, hyung. I understand why you did it; the situation wasn't the best one for us to talk about one another. – I sincerely spoke before Yoongi patted my shoulder. -Did you honestly come here just because of that? – I asked curiously, knowing that Yoongi is here for something else.
He shook his head. -Jodie and Jimin; both of them are going on another trip together, but they want everyone to join them instead of going separate ways. – Yoongi explained, and right after that, a loud thud blared the room.
Yoongi looked at me, confused. I only smiled while trying to cover up my nervousness.
I bet that Taehyung heard about the trip with Jimin and Jodie. I hope he's just overprotective towards his sister.
-Hmm, are you going to ignore the sound that we just heard? – Yoongi questioned.
-Uh, no, no, it's nothing. I left the door of the bedroom opened, and the window, too. So, I'm sure it was just the door closing because of the wind. – I lied while smiling at my hyung. -So, talking about this trip. Do I have to tell you my answer now? – I asked, trying to change the topic.
-Hmm, no, Jin-hyung is also thinking about it. According to him, we shouldn't invade the couple's privacy. – Yoongi disclosed, making me chuckle.
-What privacy? They are always kissing in front of us. – I laughed.
-They are, and it's disgusting to see them. – Yoongi chuckled along with me before we looked at each other again. -So, when you have your answer, let me know. – He smiled.
-Alright. Thanks for coming. – I said before hugging Yoongi.
He held me tightly before placing his head on my shoulder. -Take care, Kook. – Yoongi pulled me away before walking towards the entrance. I stared at him until he closed the door. I felt weird after having such affection from Yoongi again; it's been so long since I sensed his touch that way.
-I'm not going! – I heard Taehyung shout angrily.
I chuckled as I saw my lover; he's burning with jealousy while crossing his arms. I laughed at Taehyung before walking towards him.
-Stop being so overprotective with Jodie. She needs to breathe too, you know? – I told Taehyung while caressing his hair.
-Whatever. – Taehyung scoffed, upset. -And, why did Yoongi-hyung come up with that apology? I thought both were good. – He said, confused while staring at me.
-I don't know, Tae. I wonder the same thing. And to be honest, I felt that Yoongi-hyung has something else on his head. – I revealed while looking away from Taehyung.
-You know him better than I do. So, why do you think that, Jungkook? – Taehyung asked, confused.
-Well, Yoongi-hyung hugged me as he used to when we were together. So, it made me feel weird out by that. – I explained before looking back at Taehyung.
-Do you believe that Yoongi-hyung might have feelings for you again? – Taehyung questioned worriedly.
I slightly smiled before I felt Taehyung's lips against my forehead. He pulled me closer to him while surrounding me with his arms. I snuggled against Taehyung's embrace while looking up at him.
-Are you jealous? – I asked Taehyung.
-No, I'm just worried because I don't want to hurt Yoongi-hyung. – Taehyung admitted before looking back at me.
-I don't think he is. I believe that there's something else bothering him. – I stated before pulling away from Taehyung. -Hmm, do you think we can talk about us now? – I suddenly asked.
Taehyung smiled before taking my hand; both of us sat down on the couches from the living area before looking at one another.
-Do you want to start asking? – Taehyung questioned, to which I replied with a nod.
-Why didn't you take the photo with you? I had it, but it's yours. – I asked, confused.
-The photo wasn't the problem to me; what I wanted to know was the reason why you had it. – Taehyung admitted while relaxing against the back of the couch. -I thought that you took it with you because I left it inside your room or something. – He spoke.
-Oh, yeah, you got that wrong. I stole it. – I revealed before chuckling slightly. -At that time, I didn't understand why you wanted to get rid of everything that wasn't related to Jodie. And when I saw that picture, I recognized the day and the joy you had. So, I kept it because I didn't want you to destroy it. – I disclosed while staring at Taehyung shyly.
Taehyung smiled before cluttering my hair. -I got a question then. Tell me why you wanted me to be with Moyeon? What's up with that? – He asked curiously.
A knot on my throat appeared after Taehyung asked that. After all, I'm not sure if I should tell him my reasons.
I can trust him, right? I have to be honest if we are going to start something together. Right?
I took a deep breath before thinking about the right words to say. -I tried to push you away. – I said shortly. -I wasn't sure about your feelings for me yet, so I wanted to forget you before it was too late. – I admitted while looking away from Taehyung.
I said it.
Taehyung chuckled slightly, but I didn't see his face. It was hard to look at Taehyung face to face after what I revealed.
-Jungkook. – Taehyung called my name.
I shook my head while pressing my hands together.
-Jungkook, I wanted to do that, too. I needed to push you away. – Taehyung revealed, making my eyes open immediately.
