Chapter 13: Power

"How is this possible!?" I thought "well lets think about that." Sparky said "you can read my mind!" I exclaimed "whoa I guess I can!" He yipped as he did a little dance. I laughed at his poor dancing. Suddenly a thought occurred to me "that energy that was coming out of me must have had an affect on you." I said proudly "that's it!" He barked doing another one of his silly dances and making me laugh again. "OK I am going to have to train herder if I wanna use this power on command." I announced proudly. "I will also train you to defend your self and to see the full extent of your new found powers." I said and with that the remaining weeks I spent training with my new friend. Sparky was a fast learner and for some reason he had a very high developed brain. Which allowed him to speak, understand, and solve things. As it turns out sparky can use this "red claw power" anytime he chooses. Probably because he is a wolf and more true to his nature. After a while I was called back to the school Molly said that things had cooled down and I could come back. "OK I will be there in a day." I said as Molly withdrew from my mind. I packed my things and headed out. "I will be gone for a while. So I need you to stay here and not get into trouble." I spoke "OK but I don't see why you have to leave here." Sparky whinged "I have to finish school and I will be back before you know it." I said trying to lighten the mood. "Very well but I expect you to have a treat for me." He mischievously said 'OK" I said. As I headed out. A feeling of peace came over me "huh I have not felt this in a while." I thought
