It has been around 2 weeks since I became an official trainee for SM Entertainment. Long, tiring hours of practice was always waiting for me. Not to mention, the competition between trainees was no joke. Some were funny and kind, while some tried to bring you down. If you think of it in a way, it seemed like a battle between the trainees. Lee Soo Man CEO would come to check on us every once in a while, making sure we weren't skipping on any lessons, or stuffing ourselves with food secretly. Other than that, trainee life was going quite smooth for me.

Today was the day that we would have a dinner party with the other SM idols, to get to know them better as sunbaes and dongsaengs. Exo, Girls Generation, F(x), SHINee, BoA, Super Junior, they would all be there. That explained the fact why everyone was so busy trying to look their best. I mean, first impression is a one and only chance. I wore a floral dress that came up to half my thighs, and flats. I let my hair down, and put a bit of eyeline, mascara, and lip gloss on. No need to look like a clown at the first dinner party. Our manager came to check on us, making sure we were wearing appropriate clothing.

Our manager lead us to a part of the building, downstairs. It looked like the huge ballrooms. with the marble floors, and tons and tons of dining tables. In the back, there was a huge buffet filled with delicious looking food. We had to wait outside the door since the sunbaes had to arrive and go into the room first. I look at my small white watch on my wrist. 7:29pm. At exactly 7:30pm sharp, the huge line of SM artists came in. Obviously, everyone looked amazing. Not to forget, the girls in line with me were screaming their lungs off when Exo came in. Yeesh, can't they be more professional? After everyone was seated, the trainees were then lead in. Our table was 2 tables away from Exo's table. I was scanning their faces when I met my eyes on.. Chanyeol? He was staring straight back at me. And we all know how huge and intimidating Chanyeol's stare can be. Am I right, or am I right? ;)

I broke off the contact, feeling my cheeks blush bright red. I drank my ice water in front of me. We were then called to get our food, and my legs were shaking. I was sure I wouldn't be nervous, but somehow, I was. I snapped out of it and walked confidently to the buffet table. I got my food, a small amount, since I thought that eating too much at once would burden my stomach. I sit at my table and start to eat. I look around, and all the idols are busy talking to each other, but only the trainee table is quiet as heck. To cover up the awkwardness, I break the ice. "So, uhm, the food is great!" Stares shot across me. Some trainees just rolled their eyes, some didn't even bother to look, but there were 2 girls who sat right across me. We started to chat. Their names were Michelle and Phoebe. "Hi, I'm Kayla," I introduced myself.

After a few hours of eating and chatting, Lee Soo Man CEO went up the stadium at the front of the room. He took a mic, and started talking. "I officially welcome you all to the first dinner party with the new trainees! I hope we all get along. We will now have a time where the trainees may talk to the idols. Please, keep it limited and literal." He stepped down and gave us a motion telling us that we could get up out of our seats. Every girl, and I mean EVERY girl, ran up to their favourite idols. Taken back by the sudden crowd, I just stood there with a blank face. Michelle came up to me. "Kayla! What are you doing? Come on! Let's go see Exo and SHINee!!!" "You go ahead. I'm going to have a sip of my water." I drank my water, still dazed by everything. I grabbed my attention, and walked to Exo. I guess I wasn't watching where I was going, because I bumped into another trainee, and she spilt her cocktail on me. 'Oh my god. Watch where your going for god's sake," says the trainee. I gasp. "Oh god, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to," I apologize sincerely as I wipe my dress with the nearest napkin around me. I go outside, to go to the bathroom to wash myself up.

I was walking across the hallway to the bathroom, when I heard footsteps. Behind me. Nervous, I walk a bit faster without looking back. Sure enought, the unknown footsteps get faster and faster too. I take a deep breath, and turn back. "WHO IS-!", I yell panicking. I have my eyes shut. "It's me. I'm sorry I scared you," says the unknown voice. I open my eyes, thinking that I heard this voice before. "Chanyeol-oppa?? Wait, what are you doing here?", I say confused. He looks a bit drunk. "I..uhm, just wanted to know if you were okay." With a sketchy face, I ask him. "Do you even know me?" He stares at me, and just says, "Get yourself clean." Completely forgetting that my dress was ruined, I gave him a nod and ran to the bathroom. I cleaned myself up, and luckily, it didn't take that long. I wash my hands and look at myself in the mirror. I walk outside, when someone pulls me behing a wall. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?", I gasp. "Shh..." "No! Why should-." He puts his hand over my mouth. "SH!", he repeats. I roll my eyes and listen to him. Bodyguards are walking across the hallway. After they leave, Chanyeol lets go of me. His body was too close to me, making me unable to breath properly. I could feel my cheeks flush red again. I manage to talk. "Uhm, I feel a bit uncomfortable. Too close to me.." Chanyeol just smiles and stares at me. "Wh-what?.. Why are you staring at me like that? Sh-shouldn't you.. shouldn't you get going? They'll wonder where you are... And I'm not allowed to be beside an idol for this long. My manager warned us." Chanyeol continues to stare and chuckles softly. He is so drunk. "Whatever. I want to stay with you." He comes closer to me, and I stick to the wall in shock. "Please. Stop," I murmur out. He smiles. "You know, you caught my eye when you first came in." He moves in closer. I shut my eyes. "So..attractive." I open my eyes slowly. "Look. I think you're a bit drunk. I really have to get going, or I'm going to get in trouble. He comes even closer. "I don't think so." And he kisses me.
