Almost two months passed by since Clementine last saw Violet, she missed Violet.

Not a day went by without thinking about her.

She just started to walk better with her new wooden crutches, and it was hard for her not to think how a burden she was on the others for the last couple of months. But of course that wasn't true and no one thought like that.

But she did, cause maybe Violet left so she didn't have to bother. She didn't know her reasons and it wasn't easy.

She thought that maybe it was because she couldn't save Violet when the raiders came, but she expressed how she regretted this to Violet and she thought they were over it or at least were gonna get over it some day.

Still it wasn't a good enough reason to abandon the others too.

Clementine didn't really understand how far her feelings went, she'd find herself unable to fall asleep unless she was in Violet's bed, she'd find herself sitting by the bell tower unable to climb up and look at the stars, somehow this all made her feel closer to Violet even if she didn't want her.

They say time makes everything better, that it will make you heal and forget what hurt you in the first place.

They were wrong.

Because Violet too couldn't get over this, she'd wake up and think about going back and fixing things with everyone, but she'd remember what she did and her feelings would get mixed again and decide the best thing to do is nothing.

She would look at the stars and think about the others, about Clementine..

It was hard for her to live in this isolation by her own choice, but it was even harder for her to face her demons and make things right.

Violet wasn't the type of person to give up on things and wallow in her sadness alone. But this time she found it hard to overcome everything she experienced and the trauma and the pain and loss.

And to feel like she had any hand in this really made her believe she's better off on her own. And they were better off without her too.

Clementine woke up to the sound of AJ, she opened her eyes and saw him smiling at her.

"Hey there kid." She said while stretching her back, she was in Violet's room.

Old room.

"Good morning Clem," he said cheerfully "I couldn't find you in our room so I knew I was gonna find you here."

"Yeah.." she said with a sad smile.

She thought a lot about visiting Violet and confronting her but she wasn't strong enough to go there just yet, physically or mentally.

"I miss Violet." AJ confessed with a frown.

As Clementine sat up in the bed, she slowly caressed the sheets with her hand and said "I thought you didn't like her anymore," she looked at him and continued with a chuckle "you called her mean, AJ."

"I..I know I did but now I changed my mind about her, I was just mad at first.." he looked down.

"Well, I miss her too." She said.

"We all know you do, I mean you keep sleeping in her room." He said with a laugh.

"Shut up." Clementine said with a laugh and threw her pillow at his face.
